  • I look at some potential issues with the Ford 7810 but hopefully we can sort them. I check out a decent bit of workshop equipment and I give details on how to have a chance of winning the goody bag up for grabs.

Another great question Mucker.......I've changed my mind several times even whilst writing this comment but I think that the best looking car of all time has to be the Aston Martin DB5 and of course it has a tractor heritage 🙂 Good old David Brown! Do well Mucker!

Random input , But from what I can gather being on the electrical engineering side so electrical motors and gearboxes etc David brown make a hell of a lot more than we realise .. gearbox wise and there bloody brilliant 🍻

    Range Rover Classic for me.
Don't forget the hydraulics suction filter in the sump as it may well be choked due to crap in the system and as a result. Very few older tractors have EVER had their hydraulic oil changed in my experience!

Yes I thought about checking the strainer once we'd drained the back end. We'll fill it back up then and change the main filter.

MK 2 Jags always look great ! And the Jensen interceptor !
Good video, methodical approach to fault finding is somewhat lacking alot of the time, some quite big problems are often missed diagnosed because the tech or fitter skips the basics !

Nice to see the Sussex Tractor Badge still on this classic, good company they are used to have an old fella working at Uckfield branch10 or so years ago who would be able to reel of any part number on any item you asked for. Also it was said that when the jubilee edition came out nobody wanted one because it wasn't blue hence they sold them off cheaper to get rid. Still treasure my 7810. Nice helpful Vids thanks LM.

Good video as usual, informative as ever, many moons ago my dad and his pals done a lot of banger racing, at the time the vehicles they used were old 60s cars that were destined for the scrap heap, but they all drove Good examples of the same vehicles, Ford zephyr, hillman minx/super minx, Ford zodiac, jag s type etc, but my favourite was always the Austin Westminster, family holidays up the a5 to North Wales what a treat!

I spent my young life on a farm in Wiltshire that had a whole fleet of 10 series fords, they didn’t have a 7810, they had a stockman 5610 right up to the flag ship, a 7910, that has always been my favourite tractor, (because of the memories) nice to know your thoughts on these. You still see a lot of them in France, but a rare site in the uk. All the best

I was the same about booster packs, until a customer of mine started his 6.3 V8 with one, so went out and bought the Noco type. Bloody brilliant bit of kit, only downside is it doesn't have as longer cables as your Durite one so sometimes hard to get it on the battery in tight spots.
