- Here's another unique video from Steve Rogers. Like I had mentioned before, Steve moved from Stockton to the L.A. area and was an A&R rep at American Recordings. He had access to a bunch of cool industry events. This one appears to be one of them. Black Crowes at the Whisky. Unfortunately, we were trying to find better audio to synch to this, but it appears that it doesn't exist. If anyone has any audio for this show, please let me know.

So good. This lineup is/was the real litmus test for CR/RR music. It would hardly ever get this good again ('05-'06 notwithstanding).
Crowes here in this video at the absolute pinnacle of their power. So great!

A killer band at their peak, they were...in the zone on this one, all the 94 O.D. Jubilee shows, but this one is unreal, the Toronto one with Ronnie Wood is comparable... tough call which is better! This brings me back to being a 16 year old rocker seeing them at the Orpheum in Boston in March of 95. Such great times

There has to be better audio for this. The Crowes record everything, as well as allowing taping. Thanks for the upload!
private industry showcase means that there may have been a no taping edict for the one show, or just that no one there was a taper...

@@Cinnamongun1 there was a soundboard, that's how the vocals and instruments go to the PA to get mixed bro. Just because you didn't see it doesn't mean wasn't there. I wasn't there and guarantee there was a soundboard. Now whether or not anyone made a recording off of it or using AUD mics is a different question, and whether someone can locate said possible recording is a completely different one
