Totally agree. There are times that you sit and wonder 'who picked this song?', but there are times when everything comes together, this is one, Kevin clifton and susanna reid dancing to 'you light up my life' and others.
Its actually a combination of the lonely goatheard, from the sound of music and gwen stefani wind it up... No one sung it, its just both songs put together

Love how no one is complimenting the singers on this! But as soon as they find something difficult everyone is complaining! I love the live singers! They are incredible and their job is extremely hard as they often have to make songs suitable for the dances they are assigned and more often than not it’s not a simple fit to the dance
Paige Mabel you may find that it was not the singers behind the screens that sang this. It may have been a recording as it would have been very difficult to get the timing correct for the dancers. But the goats still get the 10 from me.

This has got to be one of the best most technically accomlished dances ever on strictly...that year in general was just full of th most spectacular dances and Faye was amazing !!!!
How they didn’t win their series I will never get over it..but then again it is Strictly, the best dancer never wins sadly but still one of the best routines ever 🌟
This is most definitely my "go to" video when I have a bad day. The music, the brilliant routine and the JOY with which they perform, puts a smile on your face. Best antidepressant ever! Love, LOVE, lovvvveeeeeeee it.
Oh my gosh! I absolutely loved it! Though the costumes are quite hideous, it oddly fitted perfectly. Gonna watch this over and over again. Especially the beginning when they were literal puppets on strings. And omg. Those two Goats in the background. Dying! 🤣

I was complaining for a while that Giovanni always got good celebs and an easy ride. After chereographing this, he deserves every good celeb for the next five years. Still astonished every time I watch this three weeks later!
Faye Tozer is incredible. I think its difficult to tell who is the pro and who is the celeb. I think Faye was better than Giovanni to be honest with the greatest of respect to him. Amazing choreography and danced to perfection. Very clever to use puppets and how they both stayed in character throughout was amazing. Why she didn't win i will never know. She is a legend. And total respect to the band and the singers. Smashed it. One of my favourite strictly performances of all time xxx

WOW!! Fabulous concept, I loved, loved, loved the incorporation of swiss folk dancing with the Charleston. Her actual Charleston was out of the word, flawless and really superb!! The whole choreography was unbelievably fantastic!! Seamless lifts, great synchronization, mesmerizing footwork. A 10 !!!

I often time see myself underwhelmed with Faye's dancing. However, this week I was not at all! This was PERFECT!! The swivels, the lifts, the synchronization was FLAWLESS!!! Like last week when I was absent, 10!
I don't even watch Strictly but I can't stop coming back every day to watch this since finding it a few days ago. I only found it coz it came up in the search results for the original scene from The Sound of Music. This is brilliant and out of all the (albeit few) dances I've seen on this show this is easily the best. I'm not even biased coz they used a song from my favourite film (and Gwen Stefani who I love is thrown in too) but the song was a perfect fit for the dance. I wanna know who's idea it was to be puppets dancing the Charleston to The Lonely Goatherd and Gwen Stefani's "wind it uurrp" bit coz they're a genius for that random mix of madness that works so well.
This comment actually made me laugh out loud, not just the saying, I literally laughed coz this is me to a tee. I'll literally play out things like this dance all the way through in my head or play through an entire song on my guitar in my head, getting the strumming patterns down but generally it just goes mad and I take ages to get to sleep
SO AMAZING very VERY close to being my favorite routine this episode. This was just a joy. This song just- fit a Charleston TOO well and these two danced incredibly. And, shoutout to whoever was puppeting those goats, they SMASHED it!!
