I can't tell you how happy I am Chris one. As a blind person I am often tarnished by association with all the negativity that surrounds disability but Chris has done something absolutely incredible, and has done it all while being completely true to himself. He's a shining example of what you can achieve against the odds and his winning Strictly will do an untold amount in raising awareness of the fact that us as blind people still have goals, dreams, capabilities and the ability to achieve anything we set our minds to. Dianne was clearly an incredible teacher and has inspired me to seriously look into learning to dance, not necessarily for the dance itself but as a means of learning visual expression. I just need to find a teacher as good as Dianne!

I’ve followed Dianne’s strictly journey from the start, always wanting her to win, and feeling gutted when she’s been so close. She’s one of the hardest working people - always giving interviews, spending time with her dance partner, taking time for fans, being a great friend to Vito who came as a new dancer to strictly - she deserved this win more than anyone, and I’m so happy for her. I know how much Di has manifested a win, and never given up. ❤ Now her dream has come true ☺

Mark and Rina are so blessed to have Joe in their lives. He is so generous, thoughtful and house proud .....whilst Di has been rehearsing all day with Chris and doing interviews, costume fittings etc, Joe has made her parents feel so welcome and special. I not only scared my cats shouting when they won, but I may have shed a tear or two at the win, and for the hope that Chris has given to so many of us living with various disabilities that we can achieve so much more than we could ever imagine! Mark and Rina are so blessed to have Joe in their lives. He is so generous, thoughtful and house proud .....whilst Di has been rehearsing all day with Chris and doing interviews, costume fittings etc, Joe has made her parents feel so welcome and special. Just love the flowers he bought Di and how dapper he looked on Di's special night. Their Xmas with all Di's family staying in their home is going to be one long, joyous celebration. Well done Joe! Oh, this has had me sobbing all over again. What a delightful, touching insight into the most magical day. Dianne is extraordinary and every moment of this is so much deserved, but what’s also evident here is how the love and support of those closest to her lifts her up to reaching the stars. It’s a truly beautiful thing to witness.

What an amazing achievement for Dianne & Chris! I not only scared my cats shouting when they won, but I may have shed a tear or two at the win, and for the hope that Chris has given to so many of us living with various disabilities that we can achieve so much more than we could ever imagine! And so wonderful that Dianne won with Mark and Rina in the audience too - just a wonderful sight to see them emotional at her fabulous performances 😊. Joe, you did a fab job showing her how proud you are of all she’s done, and I’m sure she was emotional to see the effort you went to for her too. Dianne and Chris have done so much to progress the cause of people with disabilities. Shows what you can do when time is spent and encouragement given. I know King Charles and Queen Camilla watch Strictly and these two dancers need to be recognised in some way. They are truly inspirational people. Bravo! 🕺🏻💃🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
