President Arthur, and also Peggy Schuyler (Margaret Van Rensselaer), made famous in “Hamilton” as the third and least consequential Schuyler sister. “… and Peggy.” She disappears between Acts 1 and 2, probably because she stayed in Albany, led a dull domestic life, and died before even Hamilton himself died.

I’ve been to Albany Rural Cemetery plenty of times. Beautiful place, and easy to get lost there if you aren’t familiar with the layout, but I’ve never noticed anything creepy there. I think they close it down at night, though I know people who’ve mentioned being there after dark, so it’s not impossible that people were there at night and reported seeing something strange.

@@GhostQuestUSA_TV I have not heard anything but to be honest this is a family that lived here steeped in the local history of the area. it is also known as Van Alstyne House. There are many other mansions in area that are known to be haunted like Beardsley's manor it was a smaller Irish castle and now a restaurant in Little Falls ( not far from St Johnsville area between there and little FAlls) Someone had hung themselves in the house and it had been raided by Indians. People have seen a person carrying a lantern and several accidents have been known to happen as people would see this lantern after dark. It has a dungeon. Many ghosts are known to exist there and employees have several stories on what they have seen. s the whole area has several locations known to have ghosts I would imagine although kept quieter perhaps, there probably are a few stories of some kind there.

Thanks Sue, I appreciate it!! The videos at the end of my NY playlist about the "top cemeteries" or "top haunted houses" etc are a lot more refined (relatively speaking since it's pretty much still amateur hour here lol). I actually didn't realize it was so loud until I listened on another computer after someone else mentioned it.
