Brotha you think I could get my oldsmobile toronado 1980 sitting like that I hate the look of the butch cuts people be doing I want that shit sitting clean like how you got it
U correct i just dropped the frame… but i took everything out and disconnected everything dropped it and then reversed the order. Hope that explained it better.
Did you have to weld or you did it for them 26’s cuz I thought you just had to take the old struts & just replace them with the new ones cuz I have 24’s
If you don't drop the sub frame and body lift with the cylinders the cv axles will not line correctly causing wobbling and axles will fail. I have this exact same set up went thru a couple sets of axles and had bad ride quality on 6s . This is a must have.
Not really just had to remove engine and drop subframe 3 inches. Just take it one day at a time bro . Also had to remove the radiator hose and cut it because it wasn’t fitting on right
@@dastony1969 i feel u bro.. i been doing a lot of homework too. I watch the other youtube dts on 28 and his comments helped me out too. What kinda car u doing it on?
Hows the ride I sent mine to a shop in January to get the work done they didn't do the frame but I bought the struts already made for 3 inch lift ... and the cups for the rear with all new springs they uses the same shocks cuz the could get the new ones I got on .. the cut job was horrible and it rides like shyt.... planning on changing to these rear shocks you have just asking how the ride is on yours ... going to re cut myself they rub when going over bumps in the road.
Do you have video of it im trying to install staggered wheels but the the cup that the spring rests in is rubbing the tire and I don’t want to beat the hell out of it
I can truly appreciate the time and detail you took to show your work for this Build. I would hire you fasho to do custom work
Thx bro much appreciated
💯💪🏾
I wish the full video was on here, so I really could see how it was done. I have a steep drive way to get under my patio and I keep scrapping

Yes do your homework like I did and you can do anything. Check out universal car lift and see if they have the kit
@@garyphloyngam7148 I’ve never seen a toronado on rims, I had one shop tell me I’d have to cut it and they don’t do cuts
Why did you have to take the motor out wouldn’t it just drop with the frame or did u mean just dropping the frame !

I ordered them off universal car lift and yes they are extended 3 inches
What about the steering shaft that connects to the rack and pinon
it will barely reach but i just clamped it on the edge. Its kinda sketchy but. You probably want to buy an extension or weld it would be best
Why did you have to take the engine out couldn’t u just drop the frame or did u mean dropping the frame when u said u took the engine out
What kind of cup lift is that called or link for them cuz I’m tryna lift my dts for 6s
I ordered everything on universal car lift it was like $1k
What are the spaces made of? Plastic or steel?
Hard epoxy
Where you get your extended shocks for the rear ??
Universal car lift
What's up bro. I'm just wondering why you lifted the subframe? Is it needed?
Ya had to to put the 3 inch lift on
@@garyphloyngam7148 say word. If you didnt, would it still ride all good or just mess shit up?
@@garyphloyngam7148 if you don't mind me asking how many km or mph are on it?

@@lestdatexan Thanks bro!
Did you have to do any cutting
Yes I bought a cheap grinder from harbor freight and cut the the wheel well a little where itll rub
What other mods have done?
Was pulling your engine a hard process??

What about the rear
The rear is a 3 inch spacer

Check me out fam just dropped a exhaust video
You do know that you didn't have to drop your frame.
