The caddy nice bro, but I have concerns. If you still have the car, how is it holding up? Thing is 24s is a lot of weight for that car to pull. I was told that the suspension and transmission will be destroyed with daily use. I just got a 2011 and I was thinking about 24s, but was recommended 22s due to the head ache that 24s will bring.
@@kingcmoe06 any problems with the suspensions or transmission? Rims shops are telling me to do 22s but I really want the 4s. Would love to have your input on this. I really love this car. It only has 90k mileage and I don't want to break it...you know
@@kingcmoe06 Caddy looks sick! I'm wondering if you have any issues / problems with brakes, ball joints, transmission, engine, anything else since you went from factory 17" to aftermarket 24"? How long you been rolling these 24s now as video is 8 years old. Thanks!
I’m looking for a 2011 platinum or a performance edition car right now to fix up on a luxury light weight wheel 24x8.5 is the right front wheel drive size
You say you lifted the front about 2 inch's. Do you get any rubbing when you drive or turn? Also with the 2 inch lift how much room do you have now that you have the rims on it?
Mevin Smith the 24s go right on in the front my inside tire rub the strut ( because how wide my tires were 275) in the rear you’ll rub a lil due to any weight in the rear ( adults kids subs etc) lifted the rear to be on the safe side
i have no clearance in the back at all i have spacers on too so the rim sticks out about 3 inces so its rubbing againt the side fender if i put those on will i get atleast 3 inches lift?
That thing is nice. Not a fan of the tires poking out but if that's the rims u like n they fit make it work. It's hard finding 24x8.5 good looking rims.
fetti sav I know a lot of people don't reply to there post I try but in the rear you can buy air shocks or do what I did and go with spring spacers from auto zone for 17.99 for each side
Those meatl clamps on the springs in the back will break".The clamps is not but four bolts that holds the clamps on the springs.i know because I had them on my 1993lexus LS 400.everytime I go over a speed bump. There's a good chance the bolts will break".I just went ahead and put air bags on my car"
@Martino Foster it will but it’s gonna poke and a lac is supposed to tuck well actually all wheels unless your into drifting then they like wide but urban culture we like our wheels to tuck
doing too much. why was it so important to have 24's? takes the class away from the car. plus it sent you through all those changes just to get them to fit. now instead of rolling in comfort your feeling every little pebble on the road. watch out for potholes. smh
Thank you for this video brodie 🙏🏾 24s going on my caddy soon
Yes sir this was what I needed to see
Excellent instructional video.. keep doing em bro 💪 💯
Appreciate the video it was helpful bro! Trying to see if 24's will fit on my ATS

It’s a nice ride with the 4s and a great ride with passengers. Only concern I had is the look when the rims came off.

@@kingcmoe06 also how are those tires? Do they hold up nice? I'm in Detroit and the roads are not that great in some areas
I’m in South Bend Indiana and I was able to do 80 mph easy city driving no shaking/vibrations with adult passengers.
How many inches did you extend the spindle ?
Thanks for the clear and helpful information
I have a 2008 Cadillac DTS same color and all I have my eye set on some 22’s do you think I will need spacers?
Nope 22 will bolt right on no problem

@@PolarBearPredator no problems at all still rode like it had factory wheels
About how much was it to expand the spindles in the front ,,, and the spring spacers in the back
Few hundred dollars for everything had the spindles/struts done at local muffler shop. Hope it was helpful.
Good stuff rockstar pal you doin it a plus top of the yop
Yo how the spring spacers hold up ?? they still good ??
Whats the wheels specs? diameter width and offset. Looking to get escalade wheels custom drilled to fit on mine.

What are you asking exactly
A bro did your traction control abs lights come on from lifting your car
Thanks for the info I want to put 24 on my 07 dts

rique8296 he cut the bottom and welded it
You say you lifted the front about 2 inch's. Do you get any rubbing when you drive or turn? Also with the 2 inch lift how much room do you have now that you have the rims on it?
Mevin Smith I extended the strut/spindle and no it does not rub
Mevin Smith I lifted the back due to having subs in the rear but 24s will bolt right on
How much clearance do you have now in the front once you lifted it and put the 24s on?

Timeless I'd roll that in 2022 no problem
Appreciate it brother
Thank you....
Is a lift kit possible
I didn’t do one but it’s possible
Depends on how big of a rim your going also
Clean 🧼
This video was clutch
honestly how dose it effects the cadi quality ride???
i have no clearance in the back at all i have spacers on too so the rim sticks out about 3 inces so its rubbing againt the side fender if i put those on will i get atleast 3 inches lift?
aladin king you will get the clearance needed
aladin king mines had no sag in the rear I added spacers do to having kids and subs in the rear just as a backup for pot holes and highway driving
hows the ride. and yes you have helped me out alot thank you sir
Robert Gover it rode great drove on the highway with subs and adults in the back as if it was on factory wheels.
what size 24s did you put on as far as offset
Robert Gover could even tell you I forgot
Damn...I like those rims
Hey bruh how many spacers did u put on? And how much was it to extend the spindle
young dola 300 for the front and 2 spacers on each side.
Did u have to get anything cut in the front?
KNeal Kutz no I didn’t cut nowhere
cmoe lloyd ok thank u
Good looks bro!
Hey what size rim tho...is it 24 x8.5 or wat....I'm currently looking for 24s for my 08 dts
TERRELL GILMORE 5/120 brother
I have an 08 dts and I want to put 22x9 with the vouge 265/35/22 tires on mines, Would I have to extend the front and put spaces on the back also?
Yes
@@carworld8587 thanks 🙂
Good looking on the info
how are the spring spacers? did you have any trouble so far?
Waleed Irfan good didn't affect the ride quality any
how much did you lift your car from the back with those spacers?
300 for the front spindle to extend them (muffler shop) 32 dollars for back spacers (auto zone )
That thing is nice. Not a fan of the tires poking out but if that's the rims u like n they fit make it work. It's hard finding 24x8.5 good looking rims.
J.P. Highly appreciated
@@kingcmoe06 I like the tire poking a little looks tight to me. I had a 97 Eldorado on TIs 255 30 22 it was a beast
Boss how much was it total for that
bigshow4435 under 400
150 each front strut (spindle extended) and 20 dollars each spring spacer in the rear (auto zone) total 350 and 50 I paid to have them put on
how much did it cost u
fetti sav it cost me 300 bucks at my local muffler shop to just extend my spindles in the front that's it no lifting required
fetti sav I know a lot of people don't reply to there post I try but in the rear you can buy air shocks or do what I did and go with spring spacers from auto zone for 17.99 for each side
is it still a Smooth ride with the spacers
fetti sav it's still a smooth ride
thnks bruh i needed to knw tht

I don't trust the clamps.the bolts will break if you is not careful when you drive"
I had some on my old car for literally years and they never broke off not once. There actually pretty reliable

It’s simple as long as you get a 24x8.5
