She doesn't sound angry to me. She sounds like a mom. A mom whose daughter didn't make it home. If anything she sounds disappointed that her daughter made the wrong choices that night. She was on the road for far too long. Even without being on her phone she was doing too much and put herself at risk. I'm a mom of kids the same age and it's frustrating because they don't listen to warnings. I didn't listen to my mom's warnings either. Kids are self centered by nature and don't think the bad things they hear about will happen to them. When they find out that they do it's too late.
Sometimes i feel like that too about by middle child! I know what your saying. May she be dancing around up there and that your family finds solace in the fact you will see her again.

Take that damn phone stop paying the bill theres no excuse that's worth your child's life point blank period. These videos are simply not enough anymore. Don't sit around and wait on it to happen because it can and will happen eventually. You might not wanna hear it but its the truth.
You have to stay firm with your rules. Put a Dash Cam in the car. If she does not follow the rules, NO CAR, NO CELL! If she wrecls and hurts someone else, they can Sue you for all you have. If she has to buy her own car, insurance and cell, she will be more responsible!
Why text in the first place. That device you use to text is a telephone. All newer vehicles have Bluetooth connectivity. Just connect your phone and push the call button on the steering wheel and you can chat with someone without taking your hands off the wheel or your eyes off the road.
I honestly think some people are addicted to the physical action of texting, and they would rather do that instead of simply hitting the call button on their phone to have a normal conversation.
