GBO2 FAZZ: Behemoth of a support!

  • This video contains two recent matches I had with the LV1 and LV2 FAZZ on Gundam Battle Operation 2. It is a 600-700 cost support with the combination of Shock Dampeners and LV1 Damage Control, insane close range DPS and stagger accumulation, a mega beam that can nearly one shot any general and high powered missiles to nuke off any knockdown. Its weaknesses would be just how extremely slow it is, having 0 melee resistance and needing to get quite close for its optimal DPS. This first match was really strange since both teams had a disconnect right from the start, so I decided it was worth uploading because it was a fair fight anyway. The second match went better overall I think but I had a bit of a rough start. I hope that you enjoy watching!
    The primary weapon of the FAZZ is a double beam rifle with 1400x2 (1500x2) power, 65% (85%) heat, 1.5 seconds cooldown, 15 seconds overheat, 0.77 seconds swap, 400m (435m) range, 2 seconds focus time and 5%x2 (10%x2) stagger value. This weapon has low stagger value on both modes but its charged shot both stuns and pierces. It retains incredible damage regardless of mode also. This weapon has ridiculous damage, where even if you immediately overheat it by firing twice you can take half HP off a general. You can combo your vulcans into this for easy damage output.
    Its primary melee is a hyper beam saber with 1600 power, 3 seconds cooldown, 0.77 seconds swap and standard modifiers. This weapon has poor damage but shares the same moveset and incredible range as ZZ Gundam.
    Its first sub weapon is a head vulcan with 90 power, 60 ammo, 600 RPM, 6 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap, 200m range, 900 DPS and 6% stagger value. These share the same high DPS and stagger value of MLRS, with them stunning in 1.7 seconds. They are incredibly oppressive in close range fighting against generals thanks to your stun resistance and even let you stall against raids quite well.
    Its second sub weapon is a shoulder missile launcher with 150 power, 6 ammo, 450 RPM, 13 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap, 350m range and 35% stagger value. These have very low damage but have boost fire ability and high stagger value. These can easily be used to wall out enemy suits from getting closer.
    Its third sub weapon is a back missile launcher with 240 power, 36 ammo, 360 DPM, 15 seconds reload, 0.5 seconds swap, 400m range, 1440 DPS and 15% stagger value. These have great stats across the board with high DPS, range, stagger value and boost fire ability. The downside is the relatively slow missile travel time which makes them more practically an area denial tool or a tool to use on enemies which allies downswing.
    Its fourth sub weapon is a hyper mega cannon with 10000 power, 100% heat, 120 seconds overheat, 0.5 seconds swap, 850m range and 18 seconds focus time. This weapon has incredibly long focus time, overheat time and needs to stand still to charge. This makes it difficult to find the right situation to use it; but it pierces, heavy stuns and does a gigantic 10000 damage. It can often one shot or nearly one shot generals and has the longest range in the entire game.
    The FAZZ has 19000 HP, 35 ballistic/beam resist and 0 melee resist. Its durability is unparalled in shooting fights but its low melee resist means even generals can deal fatal close combat damage. To make up for this, it has the combination of both LV1 Shock Dampeners and Damage Control. This means enemies need to either heavy stun you or deal 130% stun value to stagger you. This makes you immune to stunlocking via range or melee. So this can make up for the low mobility just a little bit, because it is easier to get around without being stunned.
    This comes at the cost of 95 walking, 150 boosting, 60 thrust and 48 turning speed. Your mobility is extremely low so you can get caught out if your positioning isn't great, though your stun resist and self defence ability helps you get to the frontline unimpeded most of the time.
    Overall I think that while the FAZZ can potentially do a lot of damage and be hard to stop, the mobility really lets it down. This is even more of an issue considering that the optimal range for FAZZ is 200m to abuse the vulcans and beam rifle combo. I think that a buff is in order to make it a stronger option. I would add +10 boosting speed, +5 boosting speed for 650, another +5 for 700 cost, LV2 Damage Control for 650 and LV3 for 700, 60% beam rifle heat, 90 seconds mega cannon overheat time and 15 seconds focus time, uncharged firing option for mega cannon, LV2 Leg Buffer and +10/20/30 melee defence depending on MS level. I don't think it is an unviable suit though despite needing a buff, and when it is in position it is an absolute monster. Thanks for watching, and I hope that you enjoyed it!

    I kid you not, this suit can nearly one tap Unicorn with a good hit on a hyper mega beam cannon that can deal about 19k dmg.

    Just realized FAZZ stands for Full Armor ZZ. It adds so much equipment you can barely tell it is the ZZ at times.

      And the high mega cannon on the head and hip is just for show. They don't work.

      Yes/No. the FAZZ isn’t the Full Armor ZZ. It is a non transforming test version version of the Full Armor ZZ.
      I just wish the cannon could charge a little faster.

    fazz is a build stun and leg break monster
    no melee def but the trick is bait a 1v1 then just rotate charge beam vulcans fast stun missiles then back until they get angry and rush you tackle profit or downswing if they burn their dodges since u do have the zz saber and its dummy thiccc hit boxes
    now people will say im mad for what i just said but the fazz is so hard to stun vs units rushing you usually that if you know suit match ups and your weapon cycling you absolutely can 1v1 someone at least to a tackle/knockdown if not a full leg break then kill
    ive had steins rush me on tight maps like city and just get stun locked till their legs gave and then they were toast
    the one raid i absolutely fear w this suit tho is the ezz
    its got vulcans wnd rockets as good as yours to get you stunned quick and its stun resists while boosting is rough to break w one charging shooting you best u can hope for is they try to juggle you since u can eat the first hit then tackle but you are gunna take a metric ton of damage
    after a stun w the beam rifle btw avenger u can just go right to your faster stun missiles given they have a short travel to hit time so dont gotta wait a sec post beam stun just swap and dump timing will work to get build stun off asap
    same w vulcans just swap and open since u have a ton of ammo and they stun insanely fast u wanna be already firing when their stun state drops and can be built again
    this suits not amazing on certain maps and despite being space affinity benefits from ground combat due to splashing enemies legs w missiles
    it hits hard
    its hard to stun
    its got a meme beam that can yeeto deleto gens
    and its stun capability is amazing especially the missiles given u can lob them with no regard in clusters and dogpiled since they cannot stun teammates and splash
    its really a tankier slower FA7 if u think about it kit wise
    main wep is charge stun everything else is build stun and a meme beam
    close range maps ur gunna get rushed eat a melee hit if they dont downswing first or try to stun u then tackle puttem down
    if nothing else this suit is amazing diversion and bait when played right just messing w melee rushers who arent playing right vs it and stunning anything trying to one v one it till one of u dies
    in terms of being up w your team
    if you can manage it w this drudging goliath u are the stun god
    anything u and another person are lighting up is gunna get locked down and torn apart

      TBH it isn't really needed with FAZZ. Ideally you just wall them out with your stun accumulation, and they can't raw melee you anyway.

    Hella nice. Im surprised this variant is in the game. Whicj also makes me wonder why some suits from Wing arent in here kike heavy arms or.deatchscythe in the least
