Marlyse Honeychurch, Marie Vaughn, and Sarah McWaters. They were the mother and daughters in the barrels. Marlyse and her daughters disappeared in 1978. When they died Marlyse was between 24-27 years old, Marie was between 6-8 years old, and Sarah was between 11 months- 3 years old. The other little girl is Rasmussen’s daughter. She had only been in New Hampshire for a short amount of time before her death and has ancestral ties to Pearl County Mississippi. Andrea Stiers (Rasmussen’s other daughter) says that she met the little girl who they called “Anita Moon”. The little girl’s mother was Asian and indicated that she was from Southeast Asia.
Near where I live, there’s tales of an organized crime/mafia type family that used to chop up their victims, disposed of them in steel drums and dropped them into the river. Supposedly the cops would look the other way, as they were feared and said to be paid off by said family. I never knew if those stories were true or not. Seeing this video reminded me of it. But this was back in the 1920s-1930s
I feel so sorry for the victims in this case.........The last thing they saw was that empty shell of a man with his scraggly hair, blood shot eyes and little up-turned nose. It's hard to understand how people can be damaged to such a degree. I always want to know the back story.........Great video Mike, as always!

For me, the most difficult and the saddest part of this story (and so many others) is that in death, no one knows who these poor murdered people were. It breaks my heart because not being able to be identified in death, well, it sort of just erases your existence. What a superb presentation Mike, thank you so much as always, for bringing recognition and respect to the victims.

After spending literally the past five hours watching your videos without even realising the time I have finally subscribed lmao. Great videos man.
Totally relate. Done the exact same th8ng
Ink HAHA I did it.. Umm, unfortunately I went 9hrs.. Hey, hey, I had the flu! Lol... I did this also to Brief Case.. Please watch and let me know what you think!! I did the same to that one and Mr.Creepy Pasta
On my page, I guess if you click my picture, look at my folder that is labeled Tales From the Darkside.... Oooh I have some nice ones.!
Mr. Davis is awesome as well and these two have a great collab that's nice!
Me too
LOL , it did happen to me. Though , I did realize it after going to second video afterwards. 😂
This really made my skin crawl , much love to his surviving victims 😔
Your telling me this man looked at a diner chain and was like "that's my new name"
Love having something good to watch when I get off work 🤗
Thank you Captain Mike! ⚓♥
Thanks Samantha!
Yes~ could not agree more!😊
Samantha B. Same here!
Samantha B. I love having something good to watch when I get TO work....😎
@@TheMattc999 Exactly!😊
This is like watching a well writen documentary on TV, altough i am warching it for FREE on youtube! Thank you Mike, youtube, and 2019! 😁
Thank you!
I continue to be impressed with your content and presentation. Thank you for not only providing the facts that are relevant to the cases but also your own personal reaction to the information. It is comforting to hear your empathy for the victims and your frustration when those working on the case make errors that could have brought greater clarity to a case. I keep sharing your videos with anyone interested in true crime or mysteries. Thank you so much for doing what you do!
Thanks Mary!
This is very true. Thankfully there's a database now where you can search very specific criteria to match a Jane and John Doe to someone you know is missing. I hope people get closure
Just for some closure 3 have been identified. Marlyse Honeychurch, 24 Marie Vaughn, 7 Sarah McWaters, 11 months
@@jaslene816 😢 OMGOSH, I DIDN'T KNOW THAT THEY WERE ALL SO YOUNG 😢 THIS IS SO TRULY HEARTBREAKING 💔 WHAT A MONSTER, GLAD THAT POS IS ROTTING,HE WAS EVIL😠
💚 MAY MARLYSE, MARIE & SARAH REST IN PEACE 🕊️🙏💚💚💚
@@OhYesLexie absolutely...I can't imagine living with this type of heartbreak and never knowing the truth.
Merry Christmas 🎄⛄🎄
On June 6, 2019, New Hampshire investigators held a press conference regarding the case and revealed the identities of three of the victims. Marlyse Elizabeth Honeychurch (b. 1954) was the mother of Marie Elizabeth Vaughn (b. 1971) and Sarah Lynn McWaters (b. 1977).
How come no one reported them missing?
Those boy's were smart. I wouldn't have looked in those drums/ barrels either.
Think this upload of yours just saved my life. Thank you man. Hope you have a most enjoyable summer. You remind me of a guy who cheered me up once. Can’t be all bad all of the time I guess.
I have been binge watching you for 15 ‘shows’ now with only potty/beverage/food breaks (I do all three every time I ‘break’).
You are absolutely adorable! I love the way you talk and your pronunciation of some words (like 3). But best of all your content is fantastic! You have found a lot of mysteries/cases I hadn’t heard of.
Thank you!
I'm on my second of his shows. This and the mcstay family. I don't think I can't handle another today. Just too sad.
"I didn't shoot those people - they walked into my bullets"
More great content! I’d never heard of these cases. Hope to be seeing you again soon in my feed - I’ve binge watched almost all of your vids. Many thanks for the research and presentation 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Appreciate it!
It's lovely to see how you, Mike, feel while telling these stories. It is your expression that shows the disgust you feel!
I have been binge watching mikes videos for 2 weeks. They still keep coming! 😗😛🥰😍😘
That Chapter and a J is the perfect way to wind down the day. Great stuff Mike weiter so! :)
Thanks Marcel!
Love the content too! As morbid as the subject matter is, and as icky as some of the people mentioned are.... I find this channel to be strangely relaxing too.

I want to say I truly do appreciate all your AWESOME reporting on these interesting cases. Your style and reporting skills are some that make it more interesting for my husband and I. Thank you for this. Gina and David Clark
I absolutely love Mike's accent. I literally could listen to him tell me stories all day..Thanks for the awesome videos .

Nearly 50k. Well done when it comes Mike. I'm sure you'll get plenty more
Thank you Stewart!
Seriously man, keep these videos coming at the quality and with same format, you'll soon have millions of Subs. Excellent work and some talent man. Thanks for content.
Agree
Well presented. Thank you, Mike.
You truly do have the best crime/mystery channel on TH-cam. It's easy to binge watch your videos. I can only imagine how much time and effort you put into each one.
How tragic for that young girl to be fathered by that monster ! What a strange and tragic case ! Truth really is stranger than fiction !
The most disturbing thing is how I'm fascinated by all these stories
Anna Labatsevich LoL, you’re in good company.
300 ft away, but it took 15 years to find
Buuut, they know how to do/even to do an isotope count
Mang Dingle Thats what I was thinking!!
So the authorities were in on the murders? That it?
Tbf a specialized lab does the isotope analysis (during my time in University we did them ourselves but for lichen N15/N14 ratio) not the crime scene investigators. Thank god, otherwise, they would still trying to determine how to make a ratio out of two numbers. Someone in the comments compared their police work to Chief Wiggum, I found that quite fitting.
Different LE personnel conducted those very different tasks. Despite the ineptitude of the crime scene officers/investigators, I'm unsure why this confused you. The lab forensic techs typically don't identify evidence on the scene, themselves.
Want to find a killer, hire a PI. Want to find a donut shop, call a cop.
You’re videos have such high production quality. Very impressive.
Also very interesting. Thanks for making these for us. I know you get something out of it, but so do us.
*_I used to go camping up in Bear Brook in the 90's - 2000's, from Boston. Scary to think i never even heard of this_*

I went camping here last year and didn’t even know 😃
Just found you. Time for a binge watch sesh! 😁 I love your Irish accent my gran was Irish such a lovely accent
"You hope they don't clone you"
Litterally the only reason i haven't done that DNA test thingy. One of me is More than enough trouble for the world 😂
Hey, I just happen upon two videos. Apparently, the Allentown four have been almost identified. Three of the victims have been identified but the fourth, the middle girl still remains unknown. th-cam.com/video/NdEQ0vXvKGU/w-d-xo.html
I did see a full video talking about the case but I couldn't hear the audio.
Hellbound Iscariot ITS ALLENSTOWN NOT ALLENTOWN MY GOD
Not enough trouble for me ;)
Thanks Mike for sharing another case in New Hampshire, my home state.
Thanks Beatrice!
I live about 8 minutes away from bear brook. Great fishing and camping!!
Hello fellow New Hamsters ^_^ I could literally walk to Bear Brook. So many great memories, thankfully didn’t hear about this case until I was older.
Case solved! Well 3 out of 4 of the victims anyways.
beatrice basil That’s right! And they said it was solved by an “amateur”? So glad it was _finally_ solved!
Another great episode. Thanks Mike!
Thanks Benn!
This is hands down the best narration of yours I’ve seen. You’re not trying to be cute w your little mannerisms and facial expressions or trying way too hard to be funny which fails almost every time and is super hard to watch. I was actually able to enjoy it without laying my phone screen side down. 👍 Well done.
"So we're rotting here in Allen town, picking up the isotopes from the ground" -- Aren't those Billy Joel lyrics?
Exactly.
Hey mike! I’ve been addicted to your videos for like a week now. I was just wonder why you started a spooky murder/mystery channel? Not complaining... I love it. Keep up the amazing work, my dude.
Thanks Brandon! Ah I did creepypastas and such for a bit but I found real life crime to be infinitely more interesting
Well done. Fascinating and disturbing case. I kept thinking of Jordan Chase's "barrel girls" from Dexter. Very well put together video.
Your vids are amazing. Thank you so much 👏🏻
Nicola Mcrae I agree and cant stop watching they are fascinating but also handled with dignity and intelligence. Only found this last week and have seen nearly all of them!
Thanks for your work sir. You are appreciated.
I Never knew this had ever happened! Very tragic, and creepy
Surprisingly, I grew up camping there every Summer w/my fam at this Campground as a NH native. My grandparents were huge at hiking, camping, and doing volunteer work I myself joining them young. We did so much volunteer work at Bear Brook there's a trail there named after our family name called( Carr- Ridge trail,) and they were commemorated by Governor Steve Merrel ( at the time) for all their forestry and conservation efforts.
You definitely have great true crime videos. Keep up that great job.
Thanks Marie!
Thanks for the upload ✌️ Look forward to seeing more uploads and much appreciate your time and work with the case and subject matter 👍
Cheers again for the share ✌️ 💯👍✌️👍✌️👍💯✌️👍✌️

I really liked your presentation of this case. What a sad, sad case and a complex one which you carefully unfolded for us.
Thanks much. I love your style - segments may be "short" but they're packed full of researched material.
As a Forensic Criminology Undergrad, I admire your videos and work every week i get chance to jump out of my study books and watch these episodes. It’s nice to see that advanced DNA and Ancestry software can help overturn many cold cases to serve some justice to those who are still missing and never found. Thanks again Mike, your videos are inspiring and a good learning source as well 🙂
