You will need to enroll or do some CPDs for your development, by the time you are applying for jobs it will come handy?

@@bmsolayinkaafolabi yes, I am HCPC registered, I know CPD is continues professional development, but how will you included it in your application. Even today I received regret later from track jobs.

@@yusufabdulkadir9582 I think it's best you do it. It is part of the details you need to fill and they take trainings and CPDs serious over here. If you have not done any, you can watch my latest video to check out the site where you can do free CPDs.
Please ensure you do the ones relevant to your specialty.
Note: there are some that are relevant to every specialty but ensure you do at least one, relevant to your specialty.
The CPD is self paced, you can finish some in a day.
It all depends on you.

Pls my passport has my marriage name, why my documents have my former name, to fill the course form which one do I fill in. Thank you.
@@samuelchindah5014 you should use the name you are using at the moment. Since you have done a change of name, you can use it. There is usually a space to fill in your former name. You can also attach your change of name documents to the application.
So in summary you can use the name on your passport.

You can apply anywhere.
The processing time and cost is not dependent on your location.

@@JuniorForex hello congratulations on your masters. The process of registration for those whose Bachelor’s degree is not in Medical laboratory science or Biomedical science is different and not straightforward.Having a masters in Biomedical science is good but won’t make the registration process any different from not having a masters. It is possible but it will take time and you might have to consider how to navigate getting registered and working in a sponsored role after schooling.

Medical laboratory scientists are called Biomedical Scientists in the UK and you have to be HCPC registered to be qualified to practice.
Biomedical scientist is a protected title in the UK

Can someone with Bsc anatomy and Msc chemical pathology be employed in UK as a Biomedical scientist?
In order to work as a Biomedical scientist in the UK. You have to HCPC registered. To get HCPC registration is more straight forward if your Bsc was Biomedical science or Medical laboratory science. In your case, your Bsc is not either, you have to go through the IBMS route to become HCPC registered. I did a video on this. You can watch the video then contact IBMS. If you are in the UK. You can apply for MLA roles but you still need to go through IBMS to become an HCPC registered BMS.

You have to join the HCPC group first.
You will send a proof of registration to the admin of the group.

I am not sure I understand your question.
But I would say yes because you pay for registration for a period of time mostly 2 years(depending on your time of registration) and you get to renew every 2 years.
So you basically need to renew your registration to remain on the register.
