We were so excited we camped out on the porch that night to watch the skies and maybe catch a glimpse of something mysterious. The next weekend couple Rich and I went to the movies - Saturday afternoon matinee, 25 cents to get in - and saw nearly the same aliens and flying saucers in the feature. Later an uncle showed me he could fake pictures of flying saucers very easily. I learned to appreciate what effective storytellers people could be.

Dan McClellan, I really admire your erudition in Bible Scholarship. I've learned a lot from your videos. The only other Bible Scholar I admire is Bart Ehrman, and I have several of his earlier books. I learn a lot from both you and Ehrman both.

Where do you find solid information about the geological history of that area? I want to put a Bible study together that focuses on the idea of "land" in the Bible, and I think the geology of the area might be an interesting thing to throw in.
