Today we are talking about potential rework to the Path of Titans official dinoasur, Barsboldia. This rework would be massive for the dinosaur, further expanding upon the recent PTB release of the Lambeosaurus, the TLC for Barsboldia could be even better. Today we explore and theorise What it could get ability wise and model wise.

Path of Titans is an upcoming MMO RPG Dinosaur survival game, created by Alderon Games. The game has been in production for just over a year and is already looking set to become one of the most successful dinosaur games of all time.
Path of Titans is set to enter early access in September 2020 and has already racked up over $300,000 from crowdfunding. It has an extremely dedicated community and a dedicated team of developers who are providing huge amounts of content for us.

Look, I love this game, but come on, Its just The Isle Legacy's shant. (Barsboldia is actually small irl, not as big as it is in game, look it up. It was made big to fit the same role as Shant.) So its getting a stomp. uhhh, other than that I think that it will get some defensive abilities. I kind of feel like it is going to have two playstyles, both defensive. Maybe it will have an ability like ano, but instead of crouching and giving itself damage reduction, it would give something like 25% damage reduction to surrounding group members while crouching . Some sheltering ability. Then defensive tail like it has now.
I liked it! Not only that are we hoping that Pachycephalosaurus needed to be remodeled, but also added the omnivore to their metabolism, so that these dragon-like dinosaurs will eat anything they can find, like roots, berries, carrion, and everything that piscivores, herbivores, foragers, hypercarnivores, scavengers, insectivores, and predators can eat. While we also hope that Struthiomimus will need an omnivore for the metabolism, just like Pachycephalosaurus, except that Struthiomimus can never hunt big animals, only that they can hunt small critters. Even Latenivenatrix will need an omnivore, too.

as a iggy/bars/lamb main i have some concerns with the tlc. out of all the hadros i think bars is the strongest but thats also because its a apex. i like bars being a apex but to me its obvious that the size of bars currently is wayyyy too oversized. my issue is if they size it down they would need to make it faster so it doesn't jusr loose to apexes. another issue is then bars startss to have major overlap with iggy if they do downsize it as both would be semi fast hadros who play around their behind(iggys buck and bars tail slam) another thing i didnt think of till i saw this was adding knocknack. honestly i think giving its head knockback again is good but not enough so maybe give its default tail attack some weak knockback. and one more idea i think could work well would to add slick scales to it since one of the reasons bars doesn't see nearly as much usage as it used to is achillo. design wise i think that it should look like a edmont but it has a massive tail as bars was essentually just that(but smaller).

@@VelocciYT Maybe not stance switching, but lambeo can currently use front kick when not upright, so maybe like that.
@@VelocciYT Well barsboldia is smaller than edmontosaurus, a dinosaur known for actually RUNNING on two legs. So I think it'd be fine.
Amarga has that nasal movement as well

If they give it face tank, it shouldn't be as strong as Rex's. Irl, Rex's (And other tyrannosaurids; Tarbo, Dasp, Alberto) had reinforced skulls that allow them to take heavy amounts of damage to the head, Barsboldia lacks this. And I'm pretty sure they're going to downsize it.
Any new support abilities would definitely be cool to see. Right now Bars doesn't seem to have the maneuverability and the versatility to compete with a lot of these newer dinos.

Yessss omg I totally agree with u velo I have seen the whole prehistoric planet show and saw what the bars looked like and I’m like hm if only the pot bars looked like that too and it would be good so I completely agree with u on that one

The problem with Bars is that its remains are so fragmentary we have to use so much Edmontosaurus to fill in the gaps it's basically just Edmontosaurus. A giant Hadrosaur I would have went for instead would have been Saurolophus particularly the larger Mongolian species, since it's roughly in the same size range, its known from very good material & it has that short bony crest that makes it distinct from other giant Hadrosaurs.
I really like playing as Barsboldia in PoT (Definitely up there as the top 5 vanilla creatures I love to play as lol) but I always felt like it was super limited with it's abilities and playstyle :(

ive always thought the hadrosaurs should have a way to throw their weight around, seeing as size was there biggest weapon, i feel like a shove abilty on the bars would be good. maybe a way to lean on big attackers when next to each other to drain there stamina. only able to use it on sucho and above. i feel like making it do small damage would compensate for the stamina drain it applies, allowing the bars to run away and be more enduring.

It makes sense. Those in official hardly play herbs, and in community there are too many other options that are too useful or more fun to play so the official herbs tend to get forgotten and left in the dust a bit

I want an accurate 30ft+ Bars so bad. Right now it's just a Shantungosaurus from Wish. Also, why does it have a tail slam??? Bro thinks he's a Tenontosaurus.

I’m pretty sure all hadrosaurs could use their tails for defense. They weren’t peaceful, docile creatures. Just like modern herbivores they will defend themselves by any means necessary, biting, kicking, tail slamming and whipping, any and every attack they can think of.
Facts another dino that way oversized is ano.
Achillo being grossly oversized
Prosaurolophus is simply a GOATED hadrosaur and was the best subspecies of bars
I wish they would rework the Spinosaurus, its stamina needs to be increased as well as its strength and appearance
Spinos appearance is fine hes the most realistic spino of any game
His strength is also pretty fine because hes specifically a fisher but he could have two abilities that work for different prey
Terrestrial would boost his speed and cause him to do more damage to land animals but his diet will be meat exclusive and his oxygen will be decreased
Aquatic will make him do more damage to aquatic reptiles and have more oxygen and swim speed and will only be able to eat meat and his land speed decreases
Or theyre is the neutral option which is just both and you start out with it(its just current spino strength*

Wish we had some sauropod to official servers or some new herbs . Between mods and official there are almost twice as many carnivores than herbivores.
Nigersaurus can work as a new prosauropod as a counterpart to amarg
We also need anky and trike because theyre too iconic
They should bring back knockback on the head for bars, it was really fun to push ppl off in front of you and off the edge, it was sad for it to get removed. Since amarga has a knock back on their tail, it would be fun if bars was a head knock back herbivore.
Update: nvm yes ADD IT BACK- xD I personally think they’re gonna release the TLC’s all together in the next update. But who knows.
I just got bars to adult the other day in 4 hours and a spino killed me but he bars tail attacks wasn't hitting the spino is this a bug or just the hit box
Also, I hope they keep it's sounds, they are very good and fit the animal. One more thing, anyone think they should remodel EO and Rex next? Eo is too big, and Rex is kind of silly-looking. Just my thoughts, what do you think?

I kinda hipe they dont make it like the Prehistoric Planet one i really hope they keep the proportions and size maybe make it more of a facetank and maybe give it a cooler spine or something. Or maybe make it an actual effective Herd dinosaur give it crazy buffs in big groups

Yea giving facetank to a creature intended to be a rear facing character makes perfect sense, what a genius! Incoming stego/ano facetanking as well! Seriously the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard anyone say for a prediction on this game 😂
As a dinosaur that’s built to be tanky, allowing it to switch out a attack for a passive ability giving it better strength to the head doesn’t seem that dumb. After all this is a tanky dinosaur that is built with high Hp and armour in mind.

I always laugh when i see people complain about bars being too strong, like its a massive oversized hadrosaur, what did you expect it to be weak?
Bars needs to be like 15% smaller it also needs better movement and more moves plus a better model,animations and sounds

Tbh one dino i want to get a tlc is amarg, when you play as it you feel SO barebones only having a regular headbutt, tailwip and the stomp. Theres nothing fun about it which is sad cause its the only official sauropod those few slots could have a bit of diversity or maybe a shoulder bash type attack for heavy knockback with medium damage but a cooldown of 4 to 5 seconds?
I’m thinking about maybe sending a mod concept to divine beasts conceratosaurus a hybrid mixed with concave and cerato😮
I think the achillo needs a armor buff or bleed resistance since it can die by sty, Kent, amarg,and conc with 5 hits
