Newspaper 99 , manu isn’t good enough at defence , he can really use his weight and power in attack but what I have seen of him is that smaller and nippier 13’s who use footwork more are able to out manoeuvre him and just prove that he is not good enough in defence
Great video. For me he is the best at the moment. Consistent, strong, great balance and ball skills, defence, kicking, and good discipline. Scott gibbs one of my favourite ever welsh players, but Davies has more in his locker and all round game. Was missed in 6N

Tuilagi plays 11-14 in international rugby. May be not a lot wing but a lot at 12 so is not fair considering the other have made all their carrers only at 13. Also there is that Australian guy (forgot the name) who was a best and for me last year was joint 1 with vakataka. He made Davies look average in the game against Wales.

may seem like he has quiet games but he does so much more on the field than what highlights show. he anchors wales' defence and is easily one of the best backs in world rugby on the defensive end, mixing that with his very strong attacking game makes him in my eyes one of the best centres in the world. his leadership on the pitch is very underrated too as he's one of the more experienced players in the wales and scarlets squad

It just seems that the UK has a massive inferiority complex. There are so many videos claiming this home nation guy or team is the best in the world. Why? During RWC 2019 there was a video claiming that no NZ would make it into the English team and in another that England had "possibly" the best 31 main squad at the tournament. Why all these claims. Surely better to say "one of the best in the world".

Very solid defensively just think he could offer more in attack, build wise he's not big enough to have impact crashing nor fast enough to be skinning defenders. He for me is like jack Nowell bad in no areas but no xfactor. He is a great player but is he THAT good?

De villers was an inside centre so that's not very comparable. He chased Laumape down in the lions and he's no slouch. And he can accelerate, has a good eye for gaps and get the fend going if you watch games. Also Nowell is strong, fast, accelerates well and can bump of tacklers easily and I think hes exciting to watch and special with ball in hand. You're disregarding conrad smith too who is widely regarded as one of the best 13s ever. Davies has been an amazing 13, he does have strength and a fend to break tackles and he does have speed and acceleration and an all round game, theres a reason why he has started the last 6 lions test matches, now he's getting older he isn't as good.
