    Have you ever wondered how it is like to live in one of the most affluent / or richest neighborhoods in Houston?
    Ever thought how much you must make per year to settle in one of those fancy houses? Check this video out. Thanks for watching!

      All the ones outside the loop flooded very badly, for the most part West U was spared. Some parts of Southside Place flooded. The city was smart enough to flood the suburbs to save the already flooded inner loop area.

    West U, Bellaire and Southside Place are tops in terms of 1) location - close to downtown, medical center, museums, stores (upscale grocery and retail stores) 2) Walkability - plenty of sidewalks 3) parks. Most important, all three have their own police (and fire) departments, e.g. Southside Police, Bellaire police and West U police (a big deal in a city like Houston). Emergency calls are responded to within minutes,

    I hate to be that girl, but only three of these neighborhoods are worth living in: West U, River Oaks and Southside Place. Also, how is it possible that Bellaire didn't make this list?

    • @HoustonSuburb
      @HoustonSuburb  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for your feedback. We based it from the factors indicated on what is considered richest and not on opinions. I believe Bellaire was on the list, top 7th. I can only present a few of the top cities in the video during this time, since it was not possible for me to present all cities due to time and logistics. Thank you for watching.

    I would like to ask.. how would you rank Sugarland as a whole in this list?

    • @HoustonSuburb
      @HoustonSuburb  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thank you so much for the feedback. I ran a market report for Sugarland and so far Sugarland South have homes in the $750k range. Majority of Sugarland area are in the upper $200s (based on 2020 report). I can share the infographic to you. You can DM me your email. As to ranking, I cannot say since the homes in the Sugarland area are lower than these homes in the featured neighborhoods, and there are so many neighborhoods in another market area that most probably will tie with Sugarland. Thanks for watching and let me know if you need anything else. .

    • @HoustonSuburb
      @HoustonSuburb  3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I went to public schools k-12 and I am now a senior at memorial high school and i would say that our high school is honestly better than all the local private schools. Hunters creek elementary was mediocre and spring branch middle school is an absolute dump filled with troublesome kids from north of ih-10.

      When we did the research back in 2020, we considered the following in determining the richest neighborhood - poverty rate, per capita income and median value of owner occupied units. This is more than 2 years ago, and several things happened already since then and it might have changed. Thank you for watching!
