@@enjoytheridesports7343 Many thanks for the reply and offer of advice. They are great bikes, very torquey and very rare now. Mine is up for sale now as I have too many bikes and need the space. They are fantastic to ride and there's little chance of seeing another on uk roads. Have fun with yours and thanks for sharing the video.
I am from Coudersport PA, that is where you were at. This used to be an old rail-road grade, and I have rode through that same trail on bikes, ATV's and snowmobiles many times. How funny to randomly stumble upon a youtube video, and there is your hometown! BTW that river you rode through was the upper Allegheny River that meets in Pittsburgh. Cool Video!
Hey Jeffery You’re Correct! However at the Time of the Ride I did not know that. I did learn that later on , The whole area is Beautiful and a great area for me to Ride and explore. Ya slim chance to run into a video of a trail you know so well. . Hey Jeffery after miles house where is the rest of the trail or RR bed? I was hoping it went pass gold to Ulysses ? Any other trails in the area you could inform me of ?? Thanks Again Tony PS there is another video of the area on my channel take a look.
Had one of these in 77. It was a beast. Between us we had a 175 and 250 and my 400. It was a wheelie monster. Could do wheelies in all gears. At the time it was about the quickest thing on dirt and was quicker than a cb750 to 140k on the road. So much fun.
Looks pretty good on the trail. I had a WR 500 for a while and it was a bit too much, and I geared it down but I sold it, a bit too much, and when geared stock too much speed in tight trails. This looks good and doesn't seem to load up too bad.
Hi Eric I would like to have a wr500 in my collection they keep going up in price but ya it is a monster of a bike the IT400 is a Enruro and a IT Bike not as hot as the wr but a lot of fun and set up for tooling through the trails it has a heavy fly wheel making it easy to go very slow with no clutch pulled in ,but has a got kick if needed ans it is street legal! thanks Man.
Your handsignals are wrong!! Use your left for both turns.. left arm straight out is for a left turn. Left arm out bent up at the elbow means you are turning right... be safe, great bike....from Wyoming USA 🔫🤠🇺🇸p.s stay safe and healthy everybody GOD BLESS OUR COUNTRY
You are correct, and left arm out and down is stop, But I Think u and I are the only ones that know that! LOL Thank you Bill and GOD Bless you and your family as well as the GREAT USA!! Enjoy The Ride Every Day Bill!!!

I live in new jersey, are the older it bikes easy to make street legal? I know jersey is easier then pa! The it has a head light and a brake light and speedo. Really cool bike! Looking into them! I currently ride ,a 85 xl600r. Cool video! Nice seeing a old bike being ridden!
No t sure if pa is easer I think it depends on the bike my good friend in NJ turn his cr250r into a tagged bike but it was not easy to get thru NJ if you wish to sell your XR,I would be interested to buy it, let me know? Enjoy The Ride!
Running properly not that this one isn’t, they are a vicious trail bike and will keep up with anything with the right rider. 400 cc of two stroke power is more than sufficient for most situations.
Thanks funny thing the bike is on the bench and checking her out, piston carbs tuning... love this bike. it is all you say and a big comfy seat too, and not 4 feet tall. Enjoy The Ride DC
@@enjoytheridesports7343my first real bike was a 79’ IT175 and my last was an 86’ IT200 both great, that 200 was quick, especially after ported it, pipe, reeds, jetted etc with 85’ YZ250 forks and shock, 151/2” ground clearance. She was tall slim and light, with plenty of power 3rd gear wheelies with no clutch, just roll it on. Hope your doin OK and still riding 🐾✌️🇺🇸

Actually, both signals are appropriate according to the Utah drivers handbook.

I heard you say this is north central pa, im in south central pa. Id like to ride here. Can you give more info?
Help anyone tell me what years and models are compatible with a 77 it400D ?
As far as what parts buddy ? Bike’s within a year or two of each other can usually swap a few parts.
Hi, im trying to track down my old bike , i sold mine on the side of the road in linwood mi for a good deal would be cool to know thanks
whats the top speed on the 400 or the fastest you have gone on it?
I really have no idea, I would guess 85 90 top speed maybe, ... it is tagged so on the road around 60 is my top speed.
@@enjoytheridesports7343 Mine could go a little over 50mph on the road; but I changed the sprocket set up the 3rd year I owned it .
Mine was clocked at 170 klms on a beach beside a Honda CB750 4
In 1977 when mine was brand new it would go 100 mph by the speedometer. Rawlins Wy. Great bike
Hi how many gears on that one?
5, Most bikes have 5 gears some smaller bikes (125) and some new bikes have 6.
Is that southwest virginia?
No mike, it is north western Pennsylvania
Maybe good 'ole Kentuk?

Enduro bikes were not licienceable in Newfoundland. Lots of trails and dirt roads though. Mx bikes no good there.
