Something people fail to realize when they purchase it. Definitely not worth it with manual seats and those aftermarket stick on fenders. For the price that needs to be part of the design and body colored.
The TRX was super expensive but it was something special, and had state-of-the-art exterior and interior. It didn't look less like a truck and more like a luxury vehicle. So it was a special environment just to sit in.

Yup, Ford dealer markup is ridiculous. If Ford doesn't discipline the dealers (do they even care?) this will be an ongoing disappointment and force me to another brand. @@crazebamm As of now the Raptor is limited production. Dealers are taking advantage of that demand and putting huge premiums over sticker. This curbs enthusiasm for the product and in the worst case can actually kill an entire product line. Pricing is carefully set for the customer who is interested vs profit necessary for the manufacturer. Because the dealer is the middle man they can screw up that balance and destroy the desire for that product. What was once a great car is no unobtainable.

I have a Wrangler 392 and in my opinion no comparison. I also have a Explorer Platinum (same engine different tune). The Wrangler with a naturally aspirated V8 is much better the EcoBoost engines are just not reliable enough (even with early Hemi issues). The exhaust sound reminds me of a tricked-out Honda Civic (I hope it is just your recording). I now realize why Jeep didn't go with 35/37 tires stock. Having to widen the wheelbase, rear lights etc definitely will affect offroading. The Fender extensions can be removed so no big deal, would look worse with widened flares that can't be removed. Looks like Jeep went with letting the customer make mods rather than alter performance to meet standards. The Jeep suspension didn't need many upgrades for the 392, offroaders just wanted more power particularly the low end for rock crawling. The Bronco looks awesome and I do want one but will be badlands with sasquatch.

I'd still rather have a naturally aspirated v8 over a turbo v6 and I'd rather have a naturally aspirated v6 over a turbo i4 .
Plus nothing beats the sound of the coyote 5.0 with long tube headers. I would put a full body wrap on my Bronco Raptor anyways be it Mossy Oak or a CanPat/MarPat Camouflage pattern on the entire body AND fenders!
You can even get the EXTRA THICK 1/16th inch thick vinyl wrap that also adds some tree branch scraping protection. In terms of the driving range, people are reporting, the on-board computers are getting smarter and more accurate in fuel consumption figures and I have found MANY Broncos are getting around 275 to 300 miles OFF-ROAD in heavy 4x4 terrain which is to be expected.
That is WHY I am putting the custom built combined bush-bar and heavy duty bumper with winch AND a swing out cage on the back for the FOUR 20 gallon Jerry Cans of fuel (80 gallons and 480 lbs total weight) which is balanced by the heavy duty custom-welded front bumper and heavy duty winch and light bar I will have. And once you take out the back seats and put in your custom 200 litre combo fridge/freezer and 3000 watt Li-Ion camping battery pack and portable solar panel setup, the weight is now full distributed and you can get 1200 miles+ of driving range on even the gnarliest and hilliest of trails.
The Bronco Raptor is ideal for me but I STILL can't decide whether to get the Bronco Raptor or the F150 Raptor --- I WISH I could get BOTH but I can only get one! The F150 Raptor carries more camp gear but the Bronco's shorter wheel base gets me to the deeper parts of the North Canadian back country of where the bigger fish are since a lot of people just can't/won't go as far into the back country that I am willing to go! With the setup I envision, my camp gear, my gasoline, propane, food and water supplies I would usually carry are enough to keep me in the backcountry for THREE MONTHS at a time if I drive a few tens of km per day to each deeeeeeep back country lake/river I would be fishing at.

I was looking into buying a Bronco last month. Locally I could only find the bare bones models (60k) or a 85k Sasquatch model. I test drove it and yeah it’s ok, but honestly it seemed like too much money for it. It also felt like driving around in a tank, the window design blocked a lot of my viewing capabilities. This model seems more like it would be 80k but to me they are still overpriced. In my opinion they should be priced around 60k for the top models.

@@hotrod7603 it's all online trolls. the L Nano V6 is a beast of an engine. have one in my 2015 F150 and it's been super reliable not a single issue. they've updated the engine but nothing like a total overhaul. just small updates. Ford has already said that the valve dropping is due to a bad batch of components from the supplier. as long as they acknowledge that and own up / fix the issues then I don't see what the big fuss is. shit happens and this is not an integral design issue. it's a manufacturing defect and it's not even ford's fault in the first place. I presume Ford will start very thoroughly inspecting valves and other components after this whole ordeal BUT that adds cost and auto industry suppliers are expected to produce acceptable components. this will end up just making the motors more expensive so blame the supplier who probably tried to cut corners (or had to due to labor shortages and shit). in fact you could probably trace the whole issue down to the pandemic. but most online trolls and (unfortunately) many consumers will fall prey to the bullshit hearsay.
