    The solution is:-
"Development V/s Environment", should be replaced by
    "Development with Environment".

Had been taking care of a few street puppies ... They were so cute... Saw one more dead today ...run over... I have realized that development simply means carrying forward development for us... There is virtually no respect for little animals, birds, squirrels ...their families.... Just because they can't speak... Should they be made to suffer like this ... Should someone's home and life be destroyed like this ? Is this acceptable if one human did this to another ? Then why do we have double standards for animals ? I often ask myself this and feel sad..

Sustainable Development is the key of the modern world.India needs behavioral change as the individuals need to understand that environmental degradation is most critical factor in GDP growth.Different govt organisation needs revision in their policy to revise the urban development plans carried out in states and more importantly in Delhi per se. Environmentalists and Developmentalists need to work together

I think a real development with a healthy environment is possible only with a balance population. It's all about raising demand due to multiplying population where human resources fails to convert to be capital and adversity in government to governance and real economic development rather then a virtual one is truly visible.

Very constructive discussion as far as the intersection of development and environment is concerned. Everyone on the panel was emphasising upon better planning practices except the honourable gentleman from the ministry - this has to be changed at the very first. He seem to be knowing nothing about environment - forget about being emphatetic towards the natural system we are part of.

I really agree with the point that there is no sense of saying planting of 4 times of cutting trees which not really happen. Forest minister must not pay attention to such excuses. Director General of forest, Siddhanta Das, we have seen your mouth shut in this debat. You knew it what mistakes you did & doing. You must listen to solutions provided by rest of the leaders and should work on it otherwise please resign.

Dear Brothers and Sisters of my country,
Yes, it is not a joke, I can save all 17,000 grown trees to be chopped off for redevelopment of central government accommodations in South Delhi (Nauroji Nagar, Netaji Nagar and Sarojini Nagar). Is there any one from National Building Construction Corporation India Limited, Forest Department or Save Tree activist Organisation to contact me for a solution. I will also trying my best to contact these organisations but still I am not getting any response. Please help me to save these trees.

a time I visit to a village in rohtak district there was a 2 lane road and good in condition I mean perfect I visit again 2 to 3 yrs later that road was under construction and lane widen so many tree fell down for that purpose instead of requirement there was no such traffic on road hardly 50 to 100 vehicle passed on road for that purpose monodirectional road more than sufficient but there was already bidirectional road
but instead of all those things many trees cut that make green belt around the road and not planted again till now
wastes of lots of money resources
now days mostly wants make money instead of implement govt scheme at ground level properly

If u can build urban cities without cutting trees, you re out of your mind, accept that. The big question rather be how can we pursue development without necceasrily hurting the environment, or what one of the panelists pointed, lack of integration between govt agencies or lack of intent to protect invironment

What these people are talking is hardly like a grain amongst a ton. With the upcoming Petroleum refinery project at Nanar in Ratnagiri, which is a green belt in western ghats, government has ruthlessly proposed to murder whole chain of ecosystem and biota diversity with the project itself and then in years to come the pollution will kill rest of the green belt around Nanar in Ratnagiri. This project could have been easily translocated in some desert area. Shame on Modi government, for some dollars and petrol, they have proposed to murder environment and consequently the patch of green belt cover under Maharashtra.
