- Long An players refuse to continue playing in a Vietnam league match on Sunday after the referee awards a late penalty to opponents Ho Chi Minh.

People should understand, as the condition of V-League that year. Many problems about refugees appeared. This was not just only the penalty, this was about the whole season.

If the opposing team stopped playing then who took the kick off after the penalty was scored. The video goes on to show 2 more goals which could not have happened if the team refused to play.

Ball goes to center. Team refuses to kick off. Ref calls delay of game, unsportmanlike conduct, whatever, and gives the opposing team an indirect free kick from halfway line.
This is pretty much what is happening in the English Premier League now. PGMOL, the match officials organisation is either corrupt or inept. I don't think that they are actually inept...

@@vhsfootball2020No, they forfeit the match (automatic 3-0 loss) and the team gets punished, either by a massive fine or a points deduction, for refusing to play the match. It probably ends up worse than simply losing the way they did.

I think that did happen once in a game in England.
The pen was unwarranted, but this is a petulant response. Ref decisions will go against you all the time in competitive sports - a strong team will have a strong mentality to keep fighting and pushing for a result all the way til the end.
There has to be more to this than just the one incident.

Also DOAN VAN HAU did it intentionally in Sea Games 2019 football match...! NO SURPRISED!! VERY DIRTY and they perceive it as NORMAL!!! Some Vietnamese football players are very notoriously dirty... it is bad!

Saudi Arabia is the 3-time Asian champions and they've produced some good amazing players on the continent over the past 20 years, as well as having a very decent league in Asia. The same goes for Iran.
Yes, you are right about the controversy about South Korea's qualification into the 2002 World Cup semifinals but that doesn't remove the fact that they have the 2nd-best league in Asia (before Japan), and has produced some of the players that have played in Europe in the past, present, and will soon to be in the future (I know Barcelona has three young prospects from Korea at La Masia).
I'm most surprised when you said Japan "has nothing". Japan is the 4-time Asian champions. The Japanese league is the only Asian league to receive an "A" ranking and just like Korea, they have produced a lot of very good players that have played in Europe such as Nakata, Nakamura, Honda, Kagawa, and the list goes on. Japanese players are very underrated.
