- Today, Grandma wanted to eat our hometown specialty, Baoshan stewed chili. A-Xia went to the local store to buy pork skin and bamboo shoots to prepare a pot of authentic homemade stew for her. The pork skin was sliced into thin strips, and the bamboo shoots were soaked and boiled beforehand. Along with chopped pork trotters, they were simmered with stir-fried chili and seasonings for three hours, filling the air with a rich aroma. The finished dish was flavorful and perfect with rice. Grandma was especially happy enjoying it. If you're interested, you can try making it with dried bamboo shoots at home!
