I like the product reviews. It’s nice to see how it works in the real world 😊

    Thanks for sharing.
I was interested in one of the MUC-OFF ones as well, but eventually, I just grabbed an Amazon bubble mailer from an order that I placed.
Cut the open end, vertically, through the face side from halfway across, and end the cut halfway up.
Then cut one of the seam's all the way up, from open end to closed end.
Now you can just slide it over the rotor, beyond the axle, and over the seat stay.
Works like a charm, and who doesn't have any Amazon bubble mailers lying around? 😆

Good review, I have seen this come up in my feed a lot as well. I opted for the muc-off version as it covers the rotor. I like this for traveling as well. It does a great job of protecting the rotor when on my bike rack while traveling.

I am assuming you mean you travel with the Muc Off ones. Those specifically cover the rotors and Velcro on. This is basically a temporary piece to use while cleaning your cassette so you don't spray your rotor and it does a decent job protecting most other stuff as well.

Ever since I changed to always using only waxed chains. I never need to use harsh cleaners and don’t worry about overspray on my rotors or brake pads.

I have heard about waxed chains. I will look into that more and likely talk about it here. I do know there are wax-based lubricants like White Lightning.

I went down to tap plastics and got some sheet plastic like the kind used for milk jugS and made my own Grime guard years ago. Continue to use it to this day. Had I known it was marketable maybe I could’ve made my fortune off of it. Lol!

It is a pretty simple design. So I am sure it would be easy to make out of almost anything.

Mucoff’s Disc Brake Cover is more protective of the brake rotor.

I do believe that one is designed for cleaning your bike with the Muc Off products. So it basically has a Velcro cover for just the rotor. This particular one is more specific for just cleaning the drivetrain and catches the dripping of fluid.

Looking lean bro, been hitting the gym?

I have been working harder to lose weight and yes, doing a little lifting.
I do have to say that the camera has a lot to do with how I look weight wise. There are times I look larger than I actually am. I think when I pick wider angle settings it does distort things.

Easy fix, just use WAX, no oil to contaminate your bike, no oil to leave goo on your bike, no need for chemicals/detergents to wash the bike, no problem with contaminated brakes, no bearing/bushings wiped out of lube, no need for anything other then water to clean your bike, so it can be washed off in 2 minutes.. I'll get washed more often too..

I think I'd rather wrap a pile of tissue around the rotor as it's practically zero cost and less faff

I think finding a piece of cardboard or plastic that you can cut to slide on like this device would make more sense. You want to protect the entire hub, spokes, brake caliper, and all of that otherwise you have a lot more to clean up after.
That or the best option, and more time consuming, would be to remove the wheel, take off the cassette, and clean it off the bike.
