Imagine being that mother that collapsed… your worst moment in life televised and watched over and over again… my heart goes out to all the people who lost a loved one, worked on the crash scene and those wonderful women in Lockerbie who washed, pressed and wrapped all those clothes of the people on board that plane

The women of Lockerbie collected then carefully cleaned, folded and packaged all the victims' clothing they could find so that the items could be returned to grieving families. Kindness doesn't even begin to describe that generosity of heart.

@@freddyhoyt1849 You will always grieve for them Freddy and probably even shed tears from time to time but the friends you lost deserve your memories and your tears, they are your tribute to them. It was a horrible, horrible event and one that will not be forgotten but please do remember to celebrate your own life. As hard as it can be to be a survivor, it was meant to happen that way. May you be blessed with peace in your life.

The anguish of that mother’s screams. Gut wrenching.

That woman's screams haunted me at night for a long time. Now that I have my own daughter I find it even worse than I did then.

There certainly are a lot of images to come out of the Pan Am 103 incident, but I think Jeannine Boulanger collapsed on the floor at the JFK terminal is the one that never leaves you.

So so sad. All those innocent people. Did he really do it, or was he a patsy

While Gaddafi accepted responsibility for the attack, he always denied giving the order for it to happen. Gaddfai handed over al-Megrahi and Fimah, the two accused, but Fimah was discovered to have been in Sweden at the time and was therefore released. There will always be a question mark over the conviction of al-Megrahi.

Patsy it’s always a patsy. Question is who on the plain did they want gone when you figure that out you’ll know who did it.
