    This really pisses me off.
Being someone with an eating disorder, this makes me squirm in anger. I'm lucky enough to have parents who understand I have eating problems, realise I have trouble eating in public or that I can only eat a certain amount of food, but this poor kid is having belongings that really mean something to him burnt just because he's not finishing meals, hey, a message to the idiot who "cares" for this kid, try and see into the issue and talking to the kid instead of burning his belongings, or maybe just stop overfeeding him, with some some of the statements you made about wanting him to be "muscular" I wouldn't be surprised if that were the case. Don't you realise that this kid could be going through a really difficult situation and instead of helping him you're punishing him, it's just...ugh it just disgusts me. I can't imagine my mother burning one of my Skulduggery Pleasant books (my personal valuable items, basically equivalent to a pokemon card to this child, using them as an example) everytime I couldn't finish something, it just makes me thankful for the wonderful parents I have.
Sorry for the long rant, I just think this is wrong on so many levels, thank you Pegasus for putting light on the situation as this is practically child abuse and needs to be talked about more.

Speaking from experience I know how this actually feels and I hope this kid isn’t too damaged you can read my rant now.
When I was about 8-10 in elementary school I LOVED Pokémon cards but one day in my after school class I went to the bathroom to well pee I came back and all of my cards were gone. Every. Single. One. I had been devastated, I had collected so much over 5 years shinys, rainbows, those that had like a weird finger print thingy on them but I couldn’t find them anywhere. After telling this too some of my friends they were all confused except one of them who I am 99.99% sure that they stole it. We all traded cards and stuff so I could have tested if he had certain cards and I saw almost every single one of my cards on him. I saw that people he traded with had my cards and so I sneakily stole some of them back. To this day I am no longer his friend and I have recovered around 10% of them i don’t feel much liking for Pokémon cards anymore and I am sadden that someone I trusted betrayed me. He still denies anytime I bring it up or accuse him. Now I rarely feel much attachment to anything but I still keep a lot of old things and hate throwing stuff away since it feels like I am throwing away history.

i remember when i was younger that my dad took away (almost) all of my teletubbies (plushies). I believe i was between 6 and 8 then. I don't know if that was kind of old to still like teletubbies for some people, but they were the only things i had. They meant the world to me. At age 18 i decided to leave my dad's home and never go back. It wasn't only because of the fact that he threw my plushies away back then, but it was a part of the reason. I'm 21 now. So it's been 3 years since then.
The only reason i tell this story is because it kinda seemed similar to the story in the video.
As as side note: i also like pokemon and my dad also hated that. He always threw away the drawings i made unless i hid them. So there's another thing he did that's even more relatable to the story.

Sometimes I look back at my childhood and think "I had the most boring childhood" because I always listen to my parents and sometimes when I misbehave, which was rarely, they just yell at me and nothing else. In teen years we talked rationally if I got bad grade or something else. I never become a rebel (as much as I wished I did at the time). I did have depression throughout my teen years but I am doing better now. I respect my parents even more because now I am chillest person in our family and have better understanding connection with them. I learn how to love myself and others around me.
But I hate seeing stuff like in this video. It worries me when I see bad parents brag about their bad parenting on Twitter and it worries me of how child is gonna grow up. Hence I am glad I don't use Twitter or barely any social media.

gosh, i had a similar experience with my parents when i was younger. i used to refuse to eat and the only thing my parents did was force me to eat or i would get physically punished AND forced to eat again. im pretty sure i ended up developing an eating disorder because now regarding food i either stuff myself till i vomit or starve myself till i pass out

There is a story my older brother told me that when I was a baby I eat his pikachu card. That is probably why he made my life hell for most of my childhood until he went to college.

This actually brought back old memories. Parents used to do this too. Not particularly burning them, but they'd shred them when I couldn't get math correct. Not sure if this is something others had.

3:16 At 7, your son is way taller than he should be in the first place. At weight to height, sure that's underweight. But he's 7. At 7, he's rightfully 8 inches taller than average and weighs 4 pounds more than the 50th percentile.

I am glad that my mother is really understanding. She can accidentally be really agressive sometimes but i still love her. She were really harsh towards me back when i was in 8th grade which i would take an exam to decide what quality of high school i would go.
