  • Brent (#553) and Dane (speaker/bike builder in the video) Rouse make up a very unique team. The brothers form the Bubba Burger/Patch Master Racing/Mid Cities Honda privateer racing effort. Brent races Lucas Oil Pro Motocross with Dane as his mechanic. However, Dane is also known in the SoCal area for racing his 1991 CR250 and can be found at all the amateur day races throughout Lucas Oil Pro Motocross in the 25 plus class.
    Brent made his pro debut in 2016, and in 2017, thanks to long time sponsor Bubba Burger, he raced all 12 rounds of the Nationals. Bubba Burger, the title sponsor of the two brothers, have provided them a unique opportunity. At the NASCAR race in Southern California, Bubba Burger has the brothers on hand to show off the many bike builds they do, along with Brent’s race bike. Along with the bikes, their very iconic red, white, and blue Bubba Burger sprinter van is on display. On Sunday, both brothers on their bikes of choice, and the van, get to take a hot lap around the 2-mile Auto Club Speedway for opening ceremonies.
    “Not everyone gets the chance to ride a CRF450R, wide open around a NASCAR track; grateful would be an understatement,” Brent says.
    The two brothers are true blue collar working privateers. Both work for their family owned and operated general construction company out of Torrance. Keep a look out for the SoCal natives in the big Bubba Burger van at local tracks, or any of the 12 rounds of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship.
    To follow their racing, bike builds, or Bubba Burger events, find them both on Instagram @brentr553 and @rouse_763.

      The bad part about 125’s is that they suck anywhere other than the powerband, if you aren’t on the pipe they’re useless, but when you are they’re soooo fast

    I heard these were actually way better than the aluminum framed ones that started coming out in '98 or whenever it was. Both motor and chassis. So many memories, my buddy got a brand new one in high school in '94. Damn I'm old.

      I used to have a 95 97 and 2000 and 2001 cr125 and I really think that the 95-97 motor is way better than the 00-01 both the 95&97 same bikes and the 00&01 same bikes

    My first 125 was a 97 CR 125 last year for the steel frame, and I loved that bike.. 1998 came around and my old man picked me up a 98 aluminum frame CR and I hated that thing.Honda did a lot to improve on that frame threw the years. I remember going to a YZ 125 in 99.

    What kind of rear brake pedal was that. Looked almost like a hammerhead. I have a 01 cr 250 and looking to do something similar with the pedal. Any info or direction appreciated

    • @danerouse55
      @danerouse55 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      its a hammer head tip, grind off the original rivets, tap the holes and use the supplied screws to attach the new tip

    • @dh1270

      danerouse55 awesome. Thank you.

    • @heller127
      @heller127 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      I know for sure that from the newer crf's the rear brake master cylinder fits on those bikes I did it on my 95 cr125 I used to have

    • @dh1270
      @dh1270 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      danerouse55 finally got around to replacing the tip. Ended up using the hammerhead titanium tip.The holes on it lined up perfectly with the rivets. A sure boot ripper but worth the trade off. I used a torch to bring the color out a bit. Turned out pretty good. Thanks I appreciate the info. I really wish there were more parts available for older 2 strokes . The more I check out your bike the more I notice the intricate touches you added. Clean.....

      alot of them came from our sponsors that we get stuff for free anyways. the parts that were not free at first we called and pitched the idea and knowing that we are a privateer pro team they know we get exposure and the outside events like NASCAR that the bikes attend get 150,000 plus people to look at it they see it as a great opportunity
