I genuinely enjoy the exploring 🙌🏻 i used to explore abandoned places in high school but always wanted to make videos too so i combined the two passions together. Theres a lot of outdoorsy stuff id like to post on this channel that i do as well but dont very often like hiking and camping and road trips etc but maybe ill experiment with that a bit this year too

For those of you who wanted to know where this was exactly located, the failed subdivision located in the Far East side of Brawley near highway 1-11. The reason it was abandoned was because of permits that didn't go through. I checked the place out and it turns out they have security there too occasionally. The property is being cleaned up and will be all gone by March 2023.

I understand it was recently torn down, but for years there was an abandoned radar station/low level federal prison and a housing complex near Boron, CA. It was a great place to do night photography, but it was also pretty damn creepy. The barracks had been converted to "cells" and the officers' housing was in turn used by guards stationed at the prison.
I'll tell you what I tell all urban explorers - make sure you're wearing a high quality respirator (not just a mask) when you're inside these place and thoroughly hose off your boots (and preferably change into different shoes) before getting back in your vehicle.
Exploring these places is a lot of fun, but hantavirus and asbestos are nothing to mess around with.

Is that foul language really necessary, and shouldn't use the Lord Jesus,if it's not regarding a Christian video!!

These looked like they would have been nice. Wonder why the area couldn’t have been able to get developed why is the whole area not able to get developed. Someone should be able to. Development is always going on when land is available. It’s really a shame. Someone lost a heck of a lot of money. These houses don’t look any worse built then other houses how could you tell they are trashed by ignorance. Why destroy something just because you can. For people who could only wish for a home like these. What is the actual reason for no one fixing the issues so as to continue developing this whole area as it looks like so many more houses could have been built. The land is flat and potential. Just strange. Is it burial grounds perhaps? Poltergeist like maybe

Apparently something with the soil that was potentially harmful, breaking a lot of regulations and cutting corners got this development shut down if i remember correctly

I cant be giving away locations or else they would get destroyed at a way faster pace than normal. But for those devoted to finding it, they will; just as I did :)
But this place in particular might get getting demolished soon too. happy hunting
