this is good video. I got two of this lucky fish finder, the yellow "rubber ducky like" type and the "with the wire" type, and both shows different reading. I can't confirm which ones do the correct reading because i dont have under water camera to see the fish, but mostly they show fishes but i cannot catch any. So i just trust my feeling and luck now and the finders stay in their boxes
did buy a "FF718LiC-w" version and i can tell you it was horrible. if there is any waves it simply wont work and when i tried to mount it steady on a boat and just check the dept it stated it was over 60m where i know its 25. it also states its fish everywhere but i know its not and it says "DO NOT TEST IN POOL" which should raise alarm. (i do assume "fish" could also be trash flaoting around it could work better if you use the none "fish" mode but i wouldent know because the wireless sonar is hopeless) no clue if the cabled version works better but i would only use the wireless float on a lake where there is no waves what so ever. atm i have ordered a cable which is on the way just to see if my money was completely wasted. then ofcourse you guys make different plugs for every product on the market even if they work the same way (its 2 wires, you dont need 8 different transducer plugs) worst is that i dont care about the "fish" part i just wanted a depth reader
I have the base model and it works well enough. One thing I really need to know is when it shows fish on the screen, are they "minnows" or fish of a bigger size. A farmer friend put 200 rainbow trout into an irrigation pond two years ago. He hasnt seen or caught any this season. I took the finder out in the boat, picked up shoals just off weed banks but don't know if they are just very small fish or shoals of rainbow trout. The depth was 2 metres and the fish were around half way down. Any help would be appreciated 👍👍
I really want to try one of these for shore fishing small ponds and lakes.I like the models with the included wireless handheld control/display unit because my phone kinda sucks. Trying to figure out on amazon which one to get is making my head spin. Can you guys advise me which model I should be looking at? I saw one with a round yellow transducer that has 2 lights on it and an orange handheld unit, lol is that the one I want? You guys showing a streamlined transducer with a yellow handheld unit...I’m so confused, I thought this video would clear it up for me once I seen you guys worked for the company...
can you please do underwater test with Lucky fish finders to see if they can separate fish from weeds and if they can detect fish underwater in a real time.
