That rare AH-94 gunner who knows what they're doing!

piloting the AH-94 with FolkLore as our gunner, was so much fun I didn't want to sleep for work in the morning! Please forgive i forgot to change OBS setting back to vr capture and it only captured my right eye for the next two videos, it will be back to normal with the next videos!

I have around 200-250 hrs on AH-94 Gunner and I never understand how people struggle so much at being a gunner. I can understand struggling at being an EWO in the EF-24G but AH-94 gunning is SOOOOOOOOOOOO simple.

Quick tip when you start the engine up when the light above the engine switch goes back to black that means the other engine is ready to start

@@MrXlacksALT you can start the other engine before that light goes out watch the engine rpm gauge and you'll have to feel it out but you can start both engines real quick..

@@Miyukiichanable yes but the light is a good way of knowing so you can do other things while it starts up and you don’t have to watch the gauge

@@MrXlacksALT I no longer watch the gauge or the light. I've got a feel for it and a routine for starting it up. however, its just food for thought that if you're in a 'scramble' situation; knowing the RPM it needs to be is a good thing.

Dude it's so hard to find good gunners, most good pilots don't trust randoms to be good enough to not ruin the experience so they just don't let people in the cockpit with them.

It's such a massive spectrum on pilot knowledge in this game its hard to fi d both good pilots and gunners, but when you do, it's so much fun! Hell I'd say I probs put an additional 150 hr on the hr after this video, so this is me at my rookie level.

I'm no expert at the AH-94, but try to use the radar, it's on the top of the helicopter so you can hide behind a hill only exposing your radar, and mark targets from there before exposing your guns and the rest of your heli!

Holding either the combat collective, or left tdec, hold in the trigger and press the Y or B or whatever happens to be the top bottom on you left controller, sorry it took so long to reply!

I'm sad my comms are down right now for some reason my valve index mic isn't working and I've tried everything from reinstalling steamvr to everything I can find on reddit and other forums and nothing has fixed it. If anybody knows anything else that I can attempt before I try to replace the cables or the whole set id appreciate it. (the last thing that I did before noticing the mic wasn't working was trying to turn on voice commands for vtolvr or my dog stepped on it)

Try unplugging all cables, reconnet, then in window sounds setting set valve vr, then in steam vr setting make sure the audio is set to the same, see if that works.
