I feel you on the allulose! I went on a trip and was looking forward to some different meals I can't get easily here, but I was taking allulose before and during. Not only was I not as hungry but when I ate these highly sought after foods they did nothing for me! I could have been eating slop for all I could care.
The idea vegetable oils...or rancid pufas in particular(?) act like cannabinoids is incredibly fascinating and would explain things.
I appreciate this content. Understanding how to calm our appetites and cravings is a big deal!

The salt section totally makes sense to me. Where I work, we sell single, big pickles. A month or so ago, I was getting hungry and thought I wanted something sweet. But instead of getting a candy bar or something like that. I got one of those pickles and was totally satiated. I don't eat one every day. But whenever I get a bit ''snacky" and lunch is a ways away. I will grab one of those pickles and it holds me for quite a while.

I think that eating slower is a game changer. I can speak from experience that I had digestive issues, but I know a lot of them were caused from eating too fast. I probably could’ve avoided spending hundreds of dollars with functional medicine people.

For leaner individuals, however, it mobilizes stubborn fat, which can then be oxidized during steady state cardio.
It only matters around 8%+ and 99.5%+ of people never get there.

Here are the key takeaways from Thomas DeLauer's video on losing belly fat and controlling appetite without using medications like Ozempic:
    1. **Eat Slower**: Consciously slow down your eating to enhance satiety and prevent overeating.
    2. **Caffeine as an Appetite Suppressant**: Use caffeine in moderation as it helps reduce appetite by mobilizing fat in the bloodstream.
    3. **Use Smaller Plates**: Smaller plates can trick your brain into feeling full with less food, aiding in portion control and calorie reduction.
    4. **Eat Protein First**: Start meals with protein to stabilize blood glucose, activate satiety hormones like GLP-1, and reduce the likelihood of overeating fats and carbs.
    5. **Liberal Use of Olive Oil**: Incorporate healthy fats like olive oil into your meals, especially on vegetables, to stimulate GLP-1 and increase fullness.
    6. **Increase Fiber Intake**: Fiber is a powerful activator of GLP-1 and supports gut health, making it essential for appetite control.
    7. **Focus on Gut Health**: A healthy gut microbiome is crucial for proper GLP-1 secretion and appetite regulation. Consider fermented foods, prebiotics, and select probiotics.
    8. **Incorporate Allulose**: Allulose, a rare sugar, is an effective natural appetite suppressant, helping to curb hunger for several hours.
    9. **Consolidate Carbohydrate Intake**: Limit carb intake to one meal per day to avoid insulin spikes and manage appetite more effectively.
    10. **Avoid Industrial Seed Oils**: These oils offer little satiety and might even increase appetite. Focus on healthier fats like monounsaturated and saturated fats.
    11. **Artificial Sweeteners in Moderation**: Some artificial sweeteners, like aspartame, might help curb cravings if used sparingly between meals.
    12. **Use Salt to Satisfy Sweet Cravings**: Salt can sometimes satisfy sweet cravings due to its neurological effects, making it a useful tool for managing sweet tooth cravings.
    13. **Consider Yohimbine for Extreme Situations**: Yohimbine and similar stimulants can be used as appetite suppressants in challenging situations, like buffets or vacations, as a moderate alternative to medications.

A few things I have questions on..
    - I’ve been supplementing nicotine, as per Dr. Brian Ardis’s recommendation. I’ve been doing it via pouches. These pouches don’t contain (as far as the company that produces them told me) added pyrazines (which are the addictive ingredient added to commercial tobacco) or the other hundreds of really bad ingredients added to tobacco, BUT they do contain ‘flavors’ and this sweetener called ace k. Assuming the flavors aren’t a very big deal, I’m a little concerned about ace k. Are you familiar with ace k? How bad is it?
    - I drink coffee pretty much every day, multiple times per day, usually. I saw a video recently where it was stated that caffeine is very acidic and it’s part of the reason there’s such an uptick in cancers. Is there truth to this?
    - do you know where I can get 100% olive oil? EVERYTHING I find seems to be cut. Even more expensive so-called olive oils. I’m in Connecticut. I’m wondering if there’s a brand I can find that for sure is 100% olive oil. Side note.. I’ve also found that many restaurants serve what they call butter and often it tastes like butter, but it’s mixed with margarine or garbage oils.

    • @miketonon7946
      @miketonon7946 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

All this time I thought I was eating butter at certain restaurants and I’m not. Some of the waiters and waitresses even lied to me and told me it was butter. Maybe part of the reason I still have a gut.

I watch a lot of your content but not through this vid yet but what is the whole reason for being so low of body weight like I agree around 20 % no more than 25 is most Healthy correct ? But is the whole reason you stay as low as you are purely for athletics or are you constantly miserable and craving a little more and fighting the urge to enjoy the snack daily that puts you over your allowable calories daily. I’m counting calories some keeping track of my protein and eating atleast 10 grams in excess helps with being satisfied. I’m a at 20% or lower I’m
All toned except a little excess on my abdominal area but very close to what you would call ripped but I feel great I like my diet could stay easily at this weight from now on because I can indulge on goodies on occasion like how goodies should be used as a treat. Is your whole less than 10 percent body fat just to promote your brand or do you actually feel better at that low of body weight percentage? And honestly I’m harder on myself than I should be I’m probably a little lower than 20% but I just have that goal of a total ripped physic. If ya answer the question would be great if not I’m sure I will get a lot of comments ha. Or do a video on why just curious. And I like your content btw I’m a very health oriented person so I appreciate the frequent uploads

At your current fitness level what minute amount of body fat bothers you? If that tiny bit makes you obsess about than you have a major psychological problem. Of course, it may allow you to push another product which is fine because this is your work. I like your channel as you bring forth a lot of different topics.

Beware those over 60; both yohimbe and creatine can raise blood pressure. Convieniantly, aspartame isn't that bad since it's in almost every workout supplement on the market.🥴

Is that some kind of joke? Switzerland has great cheeses.
Gruyere to begin with, Emmentaler, all the artisanal cheeses from dairy farmers who keep their cows in the alpine pastures and so on.
