- This time I'll show you most obsolete vehicles of GTA V online which are not worth the asking price as there's a better alternative available.

I agree with all but not the og oppressor. It's not comparable to the MK2 since they don't have the same purpose, one is for dead brain griefers/grinders while the other is for stunts, trolling, having fun. It's imo the funniest vehicle in the game to this day.

Btw, the original Opressor is actually still very OP, it's not just about its speed and the fact that you can fly it just pressing W/being very easy to use, it's the fact that you don't have a cooldown when calling it through MC (man, the times before they added the 5 minute cooldown on the MK2 were crazy, everyone was flying that bloody broomstick) and the fact that it's a high skill ceiling vehicle that can be very effective in the right hands, someone that knows what he is doing is flying on top of their enemies heads, where they can't shoot up, and performing an "Orbital Shot". The fact that you can't control the angle the MK2 points down at is another reason that makes the MK1 a vehicle often slept on by the playerbase

Rhino Tank has one real advantage over Khanjali: its barrel can be used to slap other players or launch vehicles away and you can even park it against a building with the barrel pointed upwards to be able to climb some buildings that are normally really hard to access! I've bought Rhino Tank on PC and didn't regret it even a single time!
Don't forget that rhino can aim higher than the khanjali
I think twice before messing with a rhino. Good times back in the day where that was the only threat besides a homing launcher or a good sniper.

That is true! I also remember using the rhino tank for some fun gamemode on the old gen with my friends on freeroam, simply, we get in the tank, drive to the beach and then we used the barrel to slap them away, IT was so much fun! Ahh... Man these days were good.

Yeah the mk1 is the only one that doesn’t belong in this list. It is also way faster than the mk2 if used properly and people won’t try to kill you for using it

Armored Vehicle: I agree
Stromberg: If it goes to discount, I absolutely will buy it, though I have Toreador
Rhino Tank: My goal is having all Pegasus vehicles
Oppressor MK1: Totally disagree. Its boost is renewable and much faster. I mostly do Business battles with it, once collected all 8 packages by myself.
Rocket Voltic: I would like to see all special vehicles together, and yes, I have that one
I think the "Armored" Boxvile deserves to be on the voltic's place

Personally I disagreed on these vehicles:
- Stormberg : It has better protection as the roof is solid. This can be noticed when you are doing explosive setup for Casino Heist that you have to dive underwater.
- Oppressor Mk. I : Different purpose entirely (Stunt vs. No brainer)
- Luxor Deluxe : Why not include Swift Deluxe too?
I’d still not buy the Stromberg cause it’s a special vehicle and not personal

Yep, but imo it's handling is less amazing than the basic schafter, the v12 tends to oversteer while the basic takes the corner perfectly like the savestra (even better)

I wouldn’t say ruiner is obsolete, if you buy it you can start a vip mission or something. That ruiner is an absolute monster!

But it has a cooldown and the price so high for what it is
Actually if barage wasn’t weaponised it would be an absolute jewel in my collection plus it’s customisation are really good tho but it’s weapon make him absolutly useless

Mk.I Oppressor is faster than the Mk.II though.
And Rocket Voltic is the only boost car with Passive Mode afaik.
Small niches, but not quite as obsolete as the others.
Also, Rocket Voltic is somewhat the fastest electric car, and the only electric boost-car. Perfect when you want to go somewhere fast and still listen to music without engine noise as the backdrop. The rocket sound lets you add "accents" to the song you're listening too.

The ruiner 2000 isn’t useless because if you use a fully loaded runner for 20minute for pvp it’s the best thing
You didn't mention the Annihilator Stealth Helicopter. That heli destroys in 1 rocket.

Barrage is pretty good at off-roading, but I’d say the menacer is more obsolete since it is ungodly slow and sloppy

Only reason the ruiner has 8 missiles is because it has the deadliest lock on and it was capped to 8 for balancing reasons, thrown out when the toreador became a thing
Stromberg can still hold it’s own and is cheaper than the toreador
Stromberg also still has the best machine guns in the game so useful for blowing up AI vehicles

the mk2 should be obselete the mk1 was the best opressor because people wouldn't use it for griefing but rather for the stunts you could do on it the mk2 hasn't made gta online fun since it was released because of all the griefers

Back when the MK1 came out it was used non stop as a griefing tool just as much as the MK2 and more than any vehicle at the time of the MK1's release. But yes they need to need it like get rid of player targeting or get rid of the missile's.

@@nicholasconnolly4234 The difference was it actually takes SOME form of skill to use the MK1, whereas the MK2 you press W and fly. I think that the best nerf for the MK2 would be to remove countermeasures and reducing the rocket firing speed to that of a jet, minimum. If the tracking got worse, then you'd need either to always use Toreador or something with similar tracking to defend agaisnt the MK2. As it stands, the best counter is another MK2

If you manage to get a shot on a Khanjali while in a Rhino, it can flip over the lighter Khanjali and you can keep shooting them while they can't aim at you.
The ruiner 2000 is still a good Option because of the fully loadet version of it. In this Version it has the Most aggressive lock on rockets in the game and kan tank up to 60 rockets so the ruiner 2000 is still a good Option
still, Is it worth it at that price....Maybe at a big discout it's worth it.
I own almost every vehicle mentioned because i played when those were good, the days of the zentorno and T20 being fast and the rhino being scary are long gone :(
About the Deluxo part, if you say something is a "no-brainer", it means you encourage people to buy it.
For me , the Barage and the Rhino are for a "RP" purposes
let me explain : therz look are a modern look , not a futuristic one
and the barage , i think , is inspired by light recon vheicule of some army (Like the Polaris MRZR , Technamm VPS2 , etc...)

Oppressor MK2 was heavily nerfed, although the original was never obsolete as it was convenient to have around anyway. MK2 is more useful when you kinda need to fly all the time.

The mk1 actually is faster and more fun than the mk2. It's far from obsolete as it's still good at what it does, without being overpowered. You can also shoot straight down with it, unlike in the mk2. This helps when you're using it against an explosive sniper user. It's also far less controversial and well known. Not to forget it's harder to take you out from a mk1 than an mk2 as the mk1 cannot stop mid-air, and how it's missiles are easier to aim without homing, making it effective against lock on jammer cars.
And technically, the mk2 is also obsolete, and has been since before it was released, due to the thruster being better than it at everything except missile fire rate, and the deluxo being better at everything except speed for a little bit and price, both of which, but especially the thruster while still being quite unknown to many, which means people will leave you in peace when you're in it.
The armored vehicles also weren't that obsolete since very recently, because of rockstar having to give everyone a returning player bonus, which included the free duke o death, due to them closing old gen servers and losing the data of who played in them and who didn't.
The ruiner 2000 is overpriced, however, it has not only the awesome parachute, and is not only based off of the one and only K.I.T.T, but also gives you access to a ceo and vip work that gives you limited access to the fully loaded ruiner 2000, the best vehicle in game to fight weaponised vehicles, as it blows up with 70 homing rockets, can jump and has an unlimited amount of the best missiles in the game, that you could break a bone every time it misses it's target and still break less bones in your lifetime than most people.
And the barrage is just straight-up *FUN.*
The only advantage the rhino has over the khanjali is that you can use the barrel as a weapon, as you can launch things with it.
Stromberg can actually be a pretty solid alternative to the toreador as it had better bullet protection as there is no sunroof or glass doors, but if you can use it effectively without the boost it can be a better choice than the toreador as it's also cheaper, and has a trade price.
The whole point of the Deluxo is to be a waste of money.

The reason why the strongberg is Stil worth it is that it's missiles are better and it has more bullet protection than the toréador.

@@goofygoober2382 nope, go test it, toréador missiles have shitty tracking like that of planes, the strongberg has same missiles as the deluxo or ruiner.
There's 3 tiers of missiles :
1- (planes and helicopters missile) 30°-45°
2- (opressor Mk2) around 180°
3- (vigilant deluxo scramjet etc) 360°
That being said the toréador has a very long lock on range and it's easy to dodge its missiles as a matter of fact you can dodge the first 2 tiers of missiles by turning but not the last which can only be dodged by reaching enough speed to not be hit by it, either on a straight line or a well made turn which if done too thigh will get you killed.

Fully loaded is only advantage that ruiner has but it's still too expansive for what it is...I think it should get permanent discount.

To give the armored vehicles credit, they do have realistic bulletproof windows that can take 12ish shots before breaking. It helps out when racing to an objective when npcs are shooting at you. I use them for agency contracts in a private lobby, sometimes it kinda fun driving older cars over the super fast sports cars

In 2014 they nerfed it's armour becuase it was too OP but now after Oppressor mk2 and other grifer's toys...it's impossible to defend anything with rhino....Also where's the logic...there're cars which can take 7-14 rockets but a tank can only take 4

It wasn't the contract DLC that made the armoured executive vehicle's obsolete it was the Duke of death.
Sone people prefer the looks of normal armored cars so for them it's contact Dlc cars... also you get a free jublie SUV when you purchase agency and you can call it anywhere...

You could buy a normal luxor and paint it gold in your hangar too! :P
The Tanks wouldnt be obsolete if the Opressor MK2 didnt exist.

I bought the armored versions and barrage for looks, the Mk I is my favorite bike to use
The Stromberg may be inferior to the Toreador, but it's definitely the better looking and better driving car of the two. I also bought it at discount.
The Rocket Voltic I got at 50% discount so no real complaints there (iirc owning it also unlocks that easy Securoserv mission, 10 minutes for 35 grand)
I got the Ruiner 2000 at like 40% discount and I'm still unhappy with it (why does it have such an obscenely high repair bill for dents and dings?) The only reason I bought the damned thing was because I'm old enough to actually remember when "Knight Rider" was one of my favorite shows growing up...
I think the vast majority of folks who bought the Rhino bought it during the PS3 days like me when it was top shelf and there wasn't much else to choose from...
Even though I've got money to burn now, I haven't ever looked in the direction of the Luxor Deluxe. I'm only buying that when it has a 90% discount and I'm bored.
I’d say the rhino tank is actually quite good
This is a big problem for gta, things becoming outdated, I mean they'll sell something good for 3 mil, then sell something 10 times better for the same price a year later.
Like if you're gonna make it hella expensive, atleast update it in the future, like the rocket voltic could have the strongest and fastest recooling boost in an update, and it would maybe be worth buying, or at the least they can add unique mechanics to old vehicles so they have something to offer.
But I doubt we'll ever see old vehicles get new upgrades to make them better.

I rarely use the Rocket Voltic and Ruiner 2000 in free roam, only bought it for Special vehicle Races/ Transform Races

That’s honestly the only reason I bought the Barrage. I just like how it looks cobbled together as if some hillbilly made it in his garage. Same reason for the Stromberg. The Amphibious Lotus Esprit is my favorite car from the whole James Bond series (the classic DB5 is a close 2nd).

I use opressor mk1 for stunts only and also there are some more obsolete options there like the thruster, helis and planes.
How about reviewing obsolete or useless properties???
The thruster's actually better than the mk2 in everything except missile fire rate, was available earlier, can outrun missiles flying in a straight line, and has more missiles.

I disagree with the Oppressor MK1 being obsolete, it's much better when it comes to combat and it actually requires skill, unlike the MK2 which is a child's overpowered toy, the MK1 is pretty fun to use too.
that's the sad part... of two equally skilled people go against each other then the person with mk2 would have huge advantage.... not only mk2 but it makes most vehicles obsolete IMO
@@SD1ONE That's exactly the reason I tried to refrain from buying it because I knew it would make every other vehicle obsolete, but I eventually bought it to deal with those damn little kids on their broomsticks.
The stromberg literally has better Bullet protection, because since the stromberg is smaller and doesn't have a glass roof, you will be more protected from bullets in the Stromberg than in the Toreador, also its pretty cheaper than the toreador. You could also store the Stromberg in the Avenger and MOC while the Toreador doesn't. You could even store the Stromberg in the kosastka, so that means that Rockstar still cared about the Stromberg. And plus, the Stromberg looks better than the toreador

I don't really agree with Barrage. The gun on that thing is more powerful than the one on Insurgent and Menacer, even if you ignore the rear gun. This thing is perfect for situations where protection is not very important and you want to shoot like hell. I don't use the rear gun often, however, because it's more irritating to aim.
Stormberg has better bullet protection as toreador exposes alot (glasses)
Mk1 doesn't have the 5 mins cool down. When u cant spawn mk2, this boy can save ur life

I used the Duke of death because I thought it was cool now that I know it's better than any of the other vehicle armored vehicles that I was trying to buy originally I don't care for any of them now

This is my Personally thoughts:
- Stromberg - it may be slowest one and have limited rockets, but at least it's has benefits that Toreador don't have.
1) It can enter MOC & Avenger for a refill & repairs, while Toreador need a Kosatka that located in sea or apartment garage to drive to repair, but at Sandy shores there are no apartment that can help you with Toreador, so i prefer Stromberg in Sandy Shores fight's.
- Armored vehicles - with weak armor protection i agree, but sometimes it may save your bacon exp.
1) While fighting and you need a fast get away they quite useful for fast get away, but target can snipe you, it may if he's a descent shooter but the window's have a little bulletproof protection.
2) It may took some time to call Contract DLC Cars to get near you, for me it would be better that you spawn CEO one's and drive to a safe spot to call it then.
- Ruiner 2000 - destroyed by one rocket, has 8 rockets not gonna lie, it's the worst weaponized vehicle you can buy, but it has one plus
1) In CEO job, you can get a Ruiner that has immune to lock on, unlimited rockets, and armor buff, but the problem is that it's on time job, you'll have 30 minutes with it but still worth it.
- Oppressor MK1 - Rockets track is slow, all the time you will fall off the bike, but it's have it cheery on top.
!) While the target is on the ground, it's better dive bomb him with mk1 than mk2, ( watch JokerForLife, he's pro at it )

You can actually store the Toreador in a moc or avenger
@@superstan3290 now you can store it yeah, but earlier you could fast repair it at Kosatka, apartment or AutoShop to fully it's health, but still it's bull*hit trying to drive Tereador in MOC or Avenger cause of the rocket boost.
The Rhino got done dirty tbh, possibly the crummiest tank in video games ever, outclassed by armored TRUCKS! It's a tragedy.
The Oppressor MK 1 is one of the fun vehicles you can buy.
I think that nightshark is absolete too
Main nightshark purpose was protection and it didnt even have bulletproof glass
Now there is things like humvee with no lock on bulletproof glass and with same mgs (sometimes better bc they are high) some could argue that nightshark is cheap but we have insurgent that is 700k
Almost like.. this era of vehicles weren’t added with performance in mind.
tip: a "no-brainer" is something that is expected to be done of everyone. In this case saying that buying the plane is a no brainer, you're implying that it should be done by anyone.
Rocket voltic is cheapest rocket vehicle and powerful boost and I dont see why you wouldn't get it when it's on discount.
Ruiner can be used in fully loaded where It has unlimited deluxo missles and takes 27 missles, plus immune to lock on. The rottweiler of pvp.
Stromberg being obsolete is just cap, and yall know why It needs no explanation.

But not by much, all you have is inf missles, boost and 4 seating. You can't even put it in the moc or Avenger

I agree with all of these except the Rhino Tank. Yes the Khanjali is better, but it's almost double the price (or much more than double if you don't have the trade price).
Considering the relatively cheap price relative to the alternative, I would say it's worth it to buy the Rhino if you're tight on money. The same cannot be said for the other selections mentioned in this video.
What about the Oppressor MK1?
@@Steviebob- In most scenarios I would tell somebody to save up to by the MKII over buying the MkI. I think the MkI is great, I'm a huge fan of it, but, considering you have to unlock the missile upgrades from the Bunker, and you don't for the MkII, I would recommend buying the MkII from that alone.
though, I'm tempted to say/agree that no, it's not obsolete or a waste of money so in that regard I suppose yeah, the Mk1 fits as well

I mostly agree, but the Oppressor Mk 1 isn't obsolete. You can go faster on that than in the Mk 2, and it's so much more fun to maneuver. I also still like my Stromberg, in part because the Stromberg can be put inside an Avenger, which can make for some SICK air drops. The Toreador can't go inside the Avenger.
Mk2 can beat mk1 most of time specially if you drive it with wings closed (by pressing handbrake button)...that way it can achieve same speed as in hover mode which is about 211km/h while mk1 Max Speed with boost is 238km/h but it goes down ones the boost recharges... stromberg with Avenger is good but you have to have an avenger with it while toreador can be stored in kosatka and kosatka is like an essential vehicle for making money

I love the Rhino's aesthetic and his OG role on GTA games, otherwise is pretty bad.
They should never let MK2 have lock on missile just regular missile than it would online more fun.

There really should be a Rhino Mk2 customisable, we have got only 2 tanks (1 and a half..)
Regular oppressor is not that obsolete, it goes faster on land and its boost charges, when it's on land, while oppressor mk2 has to stop completely when you want its boost back.

While the Ruiner 2K is obsolete, I still buy it to get access to the FL version which is probably the best weaponized vehicle behind the P-996. Just watch Mk2 cryhards run from that thing
The Armored version are a a waste of money (except the Kuruma Armored, cuz u can't die un setup missions with that car)
The armored vehicles are good if you don't have a lot money and some of them are really fast {Schafter V12 Armored edition} and have more seats and are nicer than the duke O'Death and the Stromberg has better handling and the Rocket Voltic has a really powerful boost and when you said it's a laughing stock the khanjali does the same thing and the oppressor mk1 is faster and is kinda more fun and now has more accurate missiles so yeah clean it up.

Imo best armored version of regular car is kuruma, if you need to fight npcs kuruma becomes a nightmare for them. They just can't shot you also kuruma have better handling then duke
unless you're doing some exceptional missions where NPCs uses helicopter with missiles.
In this situation insurgent is the best option

Like, ruiner 2000 level of spy tech is as far as it should have gone imo. The flying motorcycles, and flying and boost-jumping cars is just too much.
Cars are cool but it's their abilities which are problematic...I mean keep the ruiner 2000 but remove the rocket & parashoute thing....It's not like there're no real life replicas of those cars but they sure can't shoot rockets and stuff....Although it's late for GTA V online. Lets hope they do something in next GTA game.
The khanjali tank is real better but the rocket voltic is very good but not everyone has enough money to buy khanjali
While the rhino is old it was there for us since the old days before the high tech shit came in. The rest points are obviously valid but for some reason I still show the old tank some love and respect.
rhino is story mode is OP... they nerfed the hell out of it in online

i regard MOST cars are worth it(btw I would suggest the Remus which is a well made and reasonably priced JDM car)

I won't consider a free Armored vehicle obsolete. Not Duke o'Death but free Paragon for completing Ms Baker missions. Still can't outrun rockets though. 😢
I showed it there but yes it's kinda free but you do have to make an effort by completing all missions
