Some of these things you have heard me discuss and rant before on but even though I do consider them a giant waste of money I do not regret buying one thing on this list because I wanted to show that they were a giant waste. None of the items have helped with anything.
I would like to respectfully dispute your argument against the Lazer. First I should acknowledge the fact that you obviously were right to point out it’s rather high price tag. It is very expensive. But it’s easily one of the most versatile and multi purpose planes in the sandbox. It has some of the most powerful onboard armament. I also understand that I can get one at Zancudo, but what if my hangar is instead at LSIA and I don’t want to spend another 3 million dollars to move my hangar when I could instead just wait until it goes on sale for 3 or 4 million? At least then I can call it to closer locations on demand and I can paint chrome on it. Sure it’s expensive, but it’s far more useful than the bombushka or the yacht. Either of those would have been much more deserving of a place on this list.
TheProfessional hacking device its usefull and if i have freind or random dosent know how to hack they can just practice its better that 2 can hack or mabye 3 can hack and the another guy can take money,artwork,gold,diamond etc

If owning the Stockade and Firetruck meant being able to call them in instead of stealing them for a setup the argument could be made that they are worth it. They are probably like the Cargobob and R* still requires you steal a specific one that spawns far away on the map.

@@lukas-ds3cm no it's a 2 hit but if you get hit it makes you ragdoll but you also need it to unlock the shotgun shells which are really good in certain scenarios
Not gonna lie, the fingerprint hacking is more of a practice for me. It's good for those who are interested to, like, be a freelance hacker in casino hesits. Having something to practice with is a pretty good investment for me, because I can sell my skill off pretty well, and it does a lot if you're not willing to do setups, as well as willing to get 15% cuts
Dawg u making no $ being a “hacker for hire” when u can literally do a 10 minute mission to avoid paying u a 15% cut. Just buy a kosatka and do the Cayo Perico heist for 1.4-2.5 mil a pop
My best friend bought the hacking one with the finger prints and it actualy was AMAZING since our whole squad and friends could just practice there without keep repeating the same heist over and over. Now we know how to hack and just do it first try.
Me spending real money for only a couple million is a waste of money imo. Edit: for the people why who say just grind, glitch or hack. 1. Grinding is repetitive 2. Glitching is risky 3. I don’t like hacking lol. P.s I’m surprised this comment got so much attention lol.
The only reason I got the arenas war garage and a vehicle was because it was on sale. Arena war is an amazing concept just poorly executed. If they tripled or quadrupled the rewards permanently and dropped the prices a little bit it would be much more popular.
@DEVlIIL Before I bought the Oppressor Mk2, I wanted it removed more than anyone. I bought it only to fight fire with fire as in my case, the fire would evaporate the water. I don't grief with my Oppressor (unless they pulled crap on me first) mainly because I don't like starting fights that prevent me from making money. I'm not good at PvP at all which is why I try to avoid rather than join. When you own the Mk2, less people bug you (at least for me) and missions that require you to travel across the map are made quicker due to the fact that your Oppressor can spawn right next to you (if you have a MC). If I never had bought it, I'd be 110% fine with the nerf made on how often you can call it in, but now that I own one and am not bugged near as much as I used to, I kinda resent the update. You don't need it to be a cumsack. It just makes missions and transport way quicker and can even make it safer.
Should I get the Lazer if I can buy it for 2.6m? I personally don't do aerial battles against other players that much,nor I was very good at it. But I do own a Hydra,so should I buy that jet for 2.6m when I can as I will never buy it if it's price is beyond 3m.
some resupply/research connections make sense, like railguns for explosive ammo or tanks for vehicle upgrades. still no justification for liveries though

I was doing gun running earlier in an insurgent. Took a bend next to a bridge way too fast. Ramped over a car and took a big fat L to the bottom of Los Santos harbour. 2 out of 5 packages delivered😢
About drilling: You can even practice during mission - it is IMPOSSIBLE to fail drilling - you may overheat... and? what? wait a few seconds. - there is literally NOTHING you can fail - it can make take longer, and...? you cant fail this - the vault counter starts after you finish drilling, and there are no enemies to attack you (they dont go near the vault). and the mission doesnt have time limit. and if you really cant do it for some reason (lol) you can even exit and let your friend take care of the second hole. the only thing is that you may try to do Elite Challenge, and one requirement is to take less than 15 minutes, but if you are new and dont know how to drill, i guess you wouldn't do that anyway, because its pretty hard to do overall. and also i doubt even if you contantly overheat, that you are gonna loose significant amount of time drilling there
I would make the argument for the keypad practice being very good actually. It's overpriced of course - it's GTA Online, of course it's overpriced - but after only one heist of completely fucking up the fingerprint hack and coming out of the vault with only 700k (yes really) I bought this thing to practice on and now I have it mastered. Sure you can learn as you go in the vault but it is a lot nicer to be able to repeat the hack again and again until you memorize the patterns without worrying about weights on your mind like timers and getting no money. Also I like hitting it up for a few hacks before starting a heist, just to refresh myself before going in. Better to have a brain fart in the arcade than in the vault. The dot pattern hack though... Lvl 2 security cards 👍
I managed to master it by fucking up too many times on day 1 of the casino heist dlc. We were doing silent &sneaky with a friend and we restarted so many times for good money (before realizing how bad is the cash target) that i memorized every print.
Absolutely. The keypad is a great way to practice hacking. Who wants to be using the actual heist as their rehearsal? If I’m doing big con, I want to maximise my time in the vault and I don’t want to get detected either. It’s all well and good people saying that the fingerprint hack is easy, but it’s only easy when you know how to do it.

I got the level 2 keycard and before I did, I recorded the dot hacks by recording the pattern with my irl phone and replaying the video, which still left me with 30 seconds to spare after doing all 3 patterns.
#5 - The Vault Door & Casino Model - Total waste | The Keypad however, VERY worth it. Whenever I've done Big Con with low low randoms, I always check if they know how to hack. If not... I let them practice and you know what? Randoms really appreciate being given a chance to practice, and it shows once they get into the vault. Give them guidance based on your own experience. #2 - Fun fact, if you own one of those, put it in your Hangar, you can then call in 2 at a time. Really flash having 2 gold jets.

There’s a brand-new glitch that makes it so you can’t upgrade the Khanjali without owning the Avenger with the vehicle workshop. So if you plan on buying the Khanjali, plan on buying a facility and an Avenger with the shop as well.
I started doing all research without fast_track at the start of the 2019-2020 school year and now at the end of this school year I still have 5 or 6 research items to do
I'ma try and buy the casino hack thing cause my friends are slow and can't even do the fingerprint one. Kinda triggers me so we only ever get 1mil then Lester cut which makes like 600k.
I actually did my research through supplies. I’ve done the security camera overnight method for my supplies, so it took me a little more than a month to complete research for everything. It still sucked to have to wait for that, and the decrease in speed for my bunker sales. I sold my bunker like twice a day, so that’s like 5 resupplies per sale, 75,000 per resupply. So $150,000 x 30 days I say I’d spent $4,500,000 concerning research. Note that I have the bunker and stocks being supplied simultaneously, so I don’t know how much faster it would have been to focus on research.

Elite Skywing Doomsday Heist with one person is much easier than the Casino Heist, at least for me. Casino Heist, especially the hacking, is much harder and I’ve tried to practice. So for me, personally, it’s the Doomsday Heist. If I had players who could hack I’d be much happier with it ha!
Aye so you mentioned that you've never heard of anyone finishing all the research by doing the supply route instead of fast tracking research. I just finished all my research without fast tracking a single one, and I got it day one it came out. That took waaaaay too damn long, but I definitely wasn't willing to drop 10+ mill for some car/gun attachments, and an ASS load of gun decals

The problem with the Luxor Deluxe is that you can get the same thing with the Nimbus for just 1.9 Million Dollars. The Nimbus comes with Champagne and Cigars too and it costs 1/5th as much as the Luxor Deluxe.
"And with research, you can get the item that you like at the beginning, or you can get the item that you like all the way at the end" I relate to this, explosive rounds was third to last unlock for me. Finally I am free of research slavery.

GuyInARoom casino ain’t useless u get security intel which tells all camera positions and with the. Amount casino heists you you cover up that cost in no time, plus armoured car and 500k I think it is a good invenstment
With the bunker, I didn't fast track a single thing I always just resupply every once and a while since I mainly grind cayo and crates on the side and most of the time I forget that I'm researching something until agent guy messages me on a completed research
I dont consider the arena war a waste of money Now before anybody tries saying I'm wrong think of it this way, the arena war mechanic is the only mechanic in the game that changes headlights for ALL vehicles to different colors, most of the arena war vehicles have different upgrades, sometimes the bottom of the list isn't the best like the scoop, for the dominator if you go bottom of the list you get spikes that stop stuff from getting thrown, but if you get the medium scoop it will launch things for miles and you keep speed, and some of the vehicles can take an explosive if they have armour plating (like the tombstone on the dominator taking an extra explosive) and lots of the vehicles have upgrades that make the car instakill at any speed, which can be useful if someone has an explosive ready to explode, instead of the guy getting hit and pulling the trigger killing both of you, he gets hit and flung either to the side or straight up

I think the heist practice equipment is just for aesthetics; to give your environment a more 'secret underground' feeling.

Not gonna lie, the fingerprint hacking is more of a practice for me. It's good for those who are interested to, like, be a freelance hacker in casino hesits. Having something to practice with is a pretty good investment for me, because I can sell my skill off pretty well, and it does a lot if you're not willing to do setups, as well as willing to get 15% cuts
There are websites online which simulate the fingerprint hack now, so there's literally no point in buying it.

My best friend bought the hacking one with the finger prints and it actualy was AMAZING since our whole squad and friends could just practice there without keep repeating the same heist over and over. Now we know how to hack and just do it first try.

The only reason I got the arenas war garage and a vehicle was because it was on sale. Arena war is an amazing concept just poorly executed. If they tripled or quadrupled the rewards permanently and dropped the prices a little bit it would be much more popular.

@DEVlIIL Before I bought the Oppressor Mk2, I wanted it removed more than anyone. I bought it only to fight fire with fire as in my case, the fire would evaporate the water. I don't grief with my Oppressor (unless they pulled crap on me first) mainly because I don't like starting fights that prevent me from making money. I'm not good at PvP at all which is why I try to avoid rather than join. When you own the Mk2, less people bug you (at least for me) and missions that require you to travel across the map are made quicker due to the fact that your Oppressor can spawn right next to you (if you have a MC). If I never had bought it, I'd be 110% fine with the nerf made on how often you can call it in, but now that I own one and am not bugged near as much as I used to, I kinda resent the update. You don't need it to be a cumsack. It just makes missions and transport way quicker and can even make it safer.

About drilling:
You can even practice during mission - it is IMPOSSIBLE to fail drilling - you may overheat... and? what? wait a few seconds. - there is literally NOTHING you can fail - it can make take longer, and...? you cant fail this - the vault counter starts after you finish drilling, and there are no enemies to attack you (they dont go near the vault). and the mission doesnt have time limit. and if you really cant do it for some reason (lol) you can even exit and let your friend take care of the second hole.
the only thing is that you may try to do Elite Challenge, and one requirement is to take less than 15 minutes, but if you are new and dont know how to drill, i guess you wouldn't do that anyway, because its pretty hard to do overall. and also i doubt even if you contantly overheat, that you are gonna loose significant amount of time drilling there
I would make the argument for the keypad practice being very good actually.
It's overpriced of course - it's GTA Online, of course it's overpriced - but after only one heist of completely fucking up the fingerprint hack and coming out of the vault with only 700k (yes really) I bought this thing to practice on and now I have it mastered. Sure you can learn as you go in the vault but it is a lot nicer to be able to repeat the hack again and again until you memorize the patterns without worrying about weights on your mind like timers and getting no money. Also I like hitting it up for a few hacks before starting a heist, just to refresh myself before going in. Better to have a brain fart in the arcade than in the vault.

I managed to master it by fucking up too many times on day 1 of the casino heist dlc. We were doing silent &sneaky with a friend and we restarted so many times for good money (before realizing how bad is the cash target) that i memorized every print.

Absolutely. The keypad is a great way to practice hacking. Who wants to be using the actual heist as their rehearsal? If I’m doing big con, I want to maximise my time in the vault and I don’t want to get detected either. It’s all well and good people saying that the fingerprint hack is easy, but it’s only easy when you know how to do it.
The finger print is extremely easy, I got it my first try and have never messed it up

#5 - The Vault Door & Casino Model - Total waste | The Keypad however, VERY worth it. Whenever I've done Big Con with low low randoms, I always check if they know how to hack. If not... I let them practice and you know what? Randoms really appreciate being given a chance to practice, and it shows once they get into the vault. Give them guidance based on your own experience.

I actually did my research through supplies. I’ve done the security camera overnight method for my supplies, so it took me a little more than a month to complete research for everything. It still sucked to have to wait for that, and the decrease in speed for my bunker sales. I sold my bunker like twice a day, so that’s like 5 resupplies per sale, 75,000 per resupply. So $150,000 x 30 days I say I’d spent $4,500,000 concerning research. Note that I have the bunker and stocks being supplied simultaneously, so I don’t know how much faster it would have been to focus on research.

I just finished all my research without fast tracking a single one, and I got it day one it came out. That took waaaaay too damn long, but I definitely wasn't willing to drop 10+ mill for some car/gun attachments, and an ASS load of gun decals

The problem with the Luxor Deluxe is that you can get the same thing with the Nimbus for just 1.9 Million Dollars. The Nimbus comes with Champagne and Cigars too and it costs 1/5th as much as the Luxor Deluxe.

With the bunker, I didn't fast track a single thing I always just resupply every once and a while since I mainly grind cayo and crates on the side and most of the time I forget that I'm researching something until agent guy messages me on a completed research

Now before anybody tries saying I'm wrong think of it this way, the arena war mechanic is the only mechanic in the game that changes headlights for ALL vehicles to different colors, most of the arena war vehicles have different upgrades, sometimes the bottom of the list isn't the best like the scoop, for the dominator if you go bottom of the list you get spikes that stop stuff from getting thrown, but if you get the medium scoop it will launch things for miles and you keep speed, and some of the vehicles can take an explosive if they have armour plating (like the tombstone on the dominator taking an extra explosive) and lots of the vehicles have upgrades that make the car instakill at any speed, which can be useful if someone has an explosive ready to explode, instead of the guy getting hit and pulling the trigger killing both of you, he gets hit and flung either to the side or straight up
