- 13-year-old Natalie Portman appeared on Late Night with Conan on December 14, 1994 to promote her movie debut in "The Professional."
Preceding Natalie's appearance is a brief clip with Larry King that is referenced a few times in the Portman interview.
If Stranger Things was released in 1994, Natalie Portman would definitely have been cast as Eleven.

I see many people noticed the same thing so she's obviously trending right now. And there are many other ways you would get such recommendations without even watching anything directly related to her anyway.

Same reason everytime older videos get reccomended. TH-cam's algorythm ignores date of upload. It just suggests videos that have the same tags as popular one, and people now is searching for "Natalie Portman" because of Thor.
You can tell this is new to her and she's so sincere. Not at all an industry kid. Fidgeting, nervous laughing etc unlike other child actors

@@14types Conan and Andy evilly tried to twist it so it appears like that, but needless to say that Natalie wasn't meaning that at all, she's just a kid, she watched how Andy took off Larry's head, and when Conan told the joke about Andy's hands being busy (one with a cigarette and one with a rabbit) she thought the joke would be more funny if Andy was holding the cut head between his legs.

With such a perfect cast of the Underrated Jean Reno, Natalie Portman, Gary Oldman, and so many others, it literally created a film that was perfect with such a strong emotional, action-packed storyline and what a soundtrack. Honestly, one of the very few films, that you can truly say has no flaws, and one that everyone can agree is perfect. With such a low budget to work with, created a true masterpiece, A film, that'll never be forgotten.

@@abcsin6526 I'm not talking about getting into Harvard or attending Harvard. I'm referring to the fact that there is so much hype about the school itself. People brag about it's reputation when really at the end of the day it's just a college. You can get a similar education, maybe at not such a rigorous pace as Harvard, at any other school in the country. Plus when you go to look for a job, or even go to grad school, it's not necessarily which institution you went to for undergrad but rather which courses you took, your grades, and if what you studied will apply for what you are trying to pursue. So again it's not just about the school itself. Sorry I should have been more specific.

Looking at young Natalie Portman just made me realise how long Conan has been entertaining us.
My gosh what a lovely amazing young lady at 13! You can tell when a child is raised by good parents! There's young adults that are a pleasure to have around because they wear their souls on the outside and emulate kindness. It's a real gift to make others smile just by entering the room!

Portman was speaking at the Los Angeles leg of the Women’s March 2018 when she opened up about her experiences after appearing in first film Léon: The Professional in 1994.

I saw Leon when it came out on video. I really liked her in it. I later saw her in Beautiful Girls and I knew right there that she would have a great career ahead of her. She's adorable in this interview. As for the Larry King joke, that took me by surprise.
She is adorable there and did a fine job in The Professional. Definitely the spark that ignited her career moving forward.
