This video is by far the best and most concise entry on TH-cam on this subject. Others go into details on everything from their dinner choices to the fact that they are doing laundry while making their video. You ‘cut to the chase’ and get the job done TY. Very informative. ✅👍
@tnc1133 Thanks so much for the comment. As far as the popping you're talking about, it just takes some adjusting of your cross fades in Pro Tools. You can highlight where you want to fade and click CMD+F (or CTRL+F on a PC) and then adjust the length and shape of your cross fade. That might help.
hi...thats great ..but one thing i want to know .when i try to stretch some thing it render always so how i can do this like you are doing this without rendering
is there anyway you can adjust how much is mixed in with your voice? like logic pro you can mix where you hear yur regular voice and a little bit of shifiting in the back ground.. prolly said that wrong buuut you get what im trying to say
This video is 7 years old and still it was the most helpful one on this subject for me today- thanks, Graham!
10 years later and still helpful till this day!

Nice algorithm you have in Pro Tools! In Logic sometimes it’s still hard to do that great without using Melodyne.
@RichardGStudios You need to be in Keyboard Shortcut Focus mode. Check out my 3 time savers in Pro Tools video for how to do this.
What’s the name of that song you used😁
hey music sounds good man where can i download it
I often get artifacts in ProTools from just stretching a tiny bit, which left me to believe that timestretching in ProTools was inferior to Nuendo.
Thanks, Graham!
Great advice.
Can I time stretch a guitar note that is sustaning the same way as a vocal?
How did you create the Break please
"TCE" - anyone know if there's an equivalent feature in Sonar?
Thanks for sharing your skills and knowledge to us! God bless you!
Thank you Graham. God Bless you!
When I try this, either on vocals or a guitar / bass note, it does a weird warble sound and isn’t smooth.
I had the same problem. Changing the processing algorythm fixed it. th-cam.com/video/53sy4sFwn5g/w-d-xo.html
