I’m a Dodgers fan, but the Mets had some bad luck in the early innings and was one big hit away from changing the entire Dodgers BP plan to have to use more high leverage BP to finish which now will be available in games 4 and 5. Sometimes it takes some talent, luck and the other team slumping to win a championship. I’ve enjoyed following the Mets as a baseball fan.
In baseball, people likes to talk about about pitching win games, great lineup win games, etc. but they rarely talk about the most important thing when it comes to winning games...and that is, being able to deliver in a critical and crucial moment in the game. In game 2, Vientos was able to deliver in that critical and crucial moment at the start of the game by hitting a grand slam and the Mets won. I have every reason to believe that had Knack struck Vientos out the Dodgers would have gone on to win the game. In game 3, despite the Dodgers blowing out the Mets 8-0, had Lindor deliver when there were 2 on base I believe the Mets would have gone on to win the game as well. And yes, luck definitely plays a big part in winning baseball games more so than football, basketball, hockey, soccer or just about any other sports.
I do agree, losing 8 nothing and 9 nothing is pretty embarrassing. The Mets have scored in just two of 27 innings during this series with the Dodgers. That is not what you need to do to be a championship team.
I'm sorry but about half the players in the lineup are automatic outs, Alvarez, Taylor, Iglesias, Martinez, and sometimes Alonso. There is no way we are winning this series with all those automatic outs, especially when half our bullpen can't get two batters out. The entire team blew it last night.

I read an article that the manager is going to stick with the same lineup. I know their back up catcher is one of the worst hitters in the league, but Alvarez is a complete waste at this point. JD MARTINEZ hasn’t been good and it looks like Iglesias needs a day off. Whatever happens from here on in, it’s been a great run. I do hope they spend a bunch of Cohen’s money on upgrading the relief pitching next year. I’d also like to see another top-notch bat in the outfield. They also need to sign a good backup catcher, just in case Alvarez is, what he is.

That being said, even with some really bad at-bats, the Mets were literally a few inches from scoring five or more runs (a few hard hit balls right at defenders, and at least four balls that were caught on the warning track). Disappointing? Yes. This series will be back and forth, and I wouldn't be surprised to see it go to seven games.

GO DODGERS!
Tbh Mets are even lucky to be in this spot in the first place. Mets fans act like they were the best team for the entire season and that they’re better lol.
Im purely convinced that the Mets made it this far out of luck. Looks like its gone.
This is the second embarassing loss in the same series! All the bats silenced all togheter.
Yes, ALL Phillies fans were pissed they even lost to this Met team. Lol 😆
We Dodgers wanna wrap it up in New York and prepare for Yankees lmao.
Mets being in the post season for no reason , they just rally against the bullpen , I credit for the miracle but stop expecting a lot from a team that was never suppose to be there in the end lol
Pity that the games haven’t had that same excitement as the wild card and DS games were
It’s clear who the better team is. Sometimes you just have yo give them their due.
Buahahaha..i saw that dude on the thumbnail about 3 times last night..about 2 cry ahahhaaa
That Ohtani stat is insane. i agree, how is that possible?
*Un-forced* error
As a nats fan this was beautiful 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹
As a dodgers fan, it felt great🎉🎉
ATL 🔥 Fan, I was Drunk 🤪
As A Phillies Fan “Thank You Dodgers”! 🙌
@@zcorpalpha2462 lmao!!!
I keep hearing the mets will get revenge in game 4. So lets see what happens tonight.
Baseball....a completely random activity.
At least they aren’t running the bases like drunks.
This comes as no surprise. This is the weakest postseason team in Mets franchise history. The amount of errors this team commits is unacceptable. I don’t know how they got past the Phillies honestly and I have liked the Mets since 1984. Dodgers will prevail in 5 or 6.
Play Torrens Alvarez not competitive at bats!
Honestly Mets offense in this series so far is concerning.
The Mets are pretty lucky to get this far.
No need to be embarrassed!! If Mets win today, the series is tie. No big deal. Let the dodgers win big but it’s who wins 4 out 7 that matter
It was pathetic 😂
Well you need to think about the 2004 ALCS then.
Simple math: you need to score to win.
I feel like his doing it on purpose hahaha
These playoffs so far have been a huge borefest. The whole thing.
Have we been watching the same playoffs?
Why? Are you a Giants fan?
bang bang homie !!!
Padres took double 00
Next the Mets❤
Im glad the Mets lost
This Fransico alverez looks like a guy who is in over his head
Cleveland going to beat the Yankees 🥃🔥
I’m a Mariners fan and let’s go Mets
They can't do anything with La dodger
Mets have shown up flat after every off day or 2. Hopefully, they will show up tonight.
I feel like many are pulling for the Mets, but there is a BIG Mets fan youtube person that talks a lot of trash, so now a lot of people hate the Mets...
Lucky the Astros are taking a break...lol we are letting Ohtani and Judge shine for now.
Those days are over. Lol Astros have been on a downhill slope after 2022.
@@Adam1991713 like I said we are taking a break ,we shined and broke hearts too many seasons.Your biases if you say. No.
@@FrostyAvocados OMG let me guess you are a white guy with the little bitty penis they can't get over it
All who still can't get over Astros cheating have problems with their wife in bed.lol🤪🤟
Omg?..no runs?
Buehler 2024 stats:
1-6
5.38 ERA
Mets score 0 runs, that is embarrassing.
It's only 1 loss.
How you Padres fan holding up?my condolences 😂
It just one game it's far from over
No no no….. Pitching and defense always wins games.. Of course a run or two wouldn’t hurt.. They’ll win game four
What A Difference A Day Makes Aye?
Strike zone was a joke
For both teams
I read an article that the manager is going to stick with the same lineup. I know their back up catcher is one of the worst hitters in the league, but Alvarez is a complete waste at this point. JD MARTINEZ hasn’t been good and it looks like Iglesias needs a day off.
Whatever happens from here on in, it’s been a great run. I do hope they spend a bunch of Cohen’s money on upgrading the relief pitching next year. I’d also like to see another top-notch bat in the outfield. They also need to sign a good backup catcher, just in case Alvarez is, what he is.
why does the team that beats the Phillies to advance always play worse in the series after.. Would the Phillies been a better opponent?
I am Phils fan and I say probably not. I think the same thing would be happening to the phils if not worse. Phils probably wouldn't have Won a game against the Dodgers. This Dodgers team is something special. It's not coincidence they shut out both the Padres and Mets. Phils also have an awful bullpen. They haven't fixed it for year. Yes, the Phils have talent to get to the playoffs but they need better pieces.
A lose is a lose, move on to the next game, Mets had opputunities plenty of times but just didnt happen, concerned? This is the playoffs, this can happen.
Dodgers please finish the job, 6 more wins !
The mets just will never achieve greatness we will always be seen as losers and a team existing in the shadow of the Yankees
I'm feeling good tonight. Lets go Dodgers
It's 1 game. Relax
The mets are just bad now idk how they beat the phillies
Yall are over reacting 😂😂😂yesterdays was dodgers in troubled today lol
Unless yoshi reverts y’all are done for with flaherty pitching next
The Mets will win game 4
Win??? You better just hope you score a run, cause your last 2 losses were shutouts! 😂🤣😂🤣
@@marypeyton2461 The Dodgers have the Mets on lockdown
It’s like the Biden/Harris policies in NY took the field hahahahaha
Alvarez has got to be benched,
Embarrassing? No, sir. The Dodgers are a very good team, and their starter had a great game plan that he executing to perfection.
You win by 20 runs or by 1 run, it's just 1 game. If there is a sport where things can swing the other way so drastically, it's baseball. The series is 2-1 as it should be, each team embarrasingly dropped a game at home.
OMG!!!! the mets suck
