Thanks for the give-a-way opportunity. I enjoy all 3 of your guys' channels. Was a Dovydas sub first, but his led me to yours and Andres'. You guys are great together!
I doubt that. I bought a $1500 guitar from sweetwater and it had so much problem with it. The Service was so slow and the 2 Year warranty they offer for it was useless!
I like the jamman bc you can tap in the drum machine and quantize your loops. The drum machine makes for better rythm practice tool. You can switch between an A section and B section (x 200) with the expression. And you can sync multiple pedals. 200 save slots. 1/8" jack in, stereo in and out. Reverse...Lots of features for $150!
I agree, if I'm spending money on something that really matters, I will always go with Sweetwater. I got an Arturia Keylab 88 midi-controller around the holidays, and the deal they were running at the time was amazing, with a few hundred dollars off the controller keyboard AND $500 in software for free as well. Great deal.
What is a good “first” pedal? New player here, so not being salty. My guitar instructor suggested I get a looper so I could start branching out some. Any suggestions?
I use the trio plus pedal. I am a beginning ukulele player and having a blast with pedal. Side note I am a retired Army Bandsmen, woodwinds, bassoon, flute, piccolo and saxophone’s.
I have an RC-3, it's an awesome little looper but the included beats are naff, option to usb to the PC and load up pre-recorded loops/backing tracks, does 3 hours of playback so you can mix up complete backing tracks, load onto the pedal and use your looper as the band for a gig.
As an ex rc-3 owner you didn’t do it justice. But it’s understandable. The boss loopers tend to be super complicated and packed full with hidden but necessary features. It takes time to learn tbh
RC3 resale value is awesome. Drum and looper with massive memory bank. Solid piece if kit for the long haul. Even better with the additional single stop start switch. 👍🇦🇺
My biggest glitch when I started using a looper was the amp channel, playing through the pedal on the gain channel it's the guitar tone that is distorted but when playing a loop back, it's a sample being distorted and sounds awful, like someone added gain to a CD, Have to use the amps clean channel to playback the loops which requires a bit more tweakking of pedals to get desired tone.
It would be great to see a more in depth coverage of that Trio. It seems so cool, but I want to know if after you goof with it for a while if it gets tired. It is kind of pricey down here in Australia.
Incidentally, it would not need to be a full video but if after you have played with it for a few hours, I would love a simple buy it or maybe hold off rating.
This is fun. You guys are cool. You missed so many features of the loopers. Dood didn't know you can turn off instant overdub etc... Is the bong behind the couch?
@@juanvaldez5422 If you had ever seen Ft. Wayne you wouldn't be asking that question. XD Sweetwater of course, it's kinda sorta like an Apple store, but for musicians.

Hi guys, I got a question about the RC3: between the loops there is like a three seconds pause, can I get rid of it to have like a non-stop, continuous loop? Thanks a lot.
Donner Circle Looper, best inexpensive looper 2 buttons, 100 drum programs synced, 40 save slots! (4 min each, infinite dubs), tap tempo, when synced w drums it auto edits the loop and dubs to be perfect in sync I got it for $90 Amazon Prime I had a Ditto and rarely used it. I use this every day Saving loops, and having rhythm at that price was a game changer
Trio+ has headphones out. It also has a SD card. But most importantly, it has a built in sequencer - up to 5 parts. Oh, and you can add an external footswitch. Also, you can send a separate mix to your amp and to a PA.
Seems like they have undermined the rc3 in the video basing it on instant over dub which you CAN turn off. I have one and think its the best first looper pedal to buy.
Really? I have no idea about Looper Pedals. This is the first video i've ever watched about them and tbh i really want to buy one, i'm just not that sure about which one i should purchase. Most people from reviews from Thomann for example say that the RC-3 is the best for your first looper, easy to use, inexpensive and pretty reliable.
4:41 that look is why we NEEEEEED. that 10 second trance. That rc3 is THE pedal for creativity. Jam Man is probably the best for actually recording the audio parts, but you can layer up the RC3 to where you can make CASH outside in 20 seconds if you have a microphone and various things laying around
The trio made me laugh. Lol. I have it and it's great. It does have a serious learning curve. I still have issues but when done right it can be really cool. You have to give the pedal the least info possible. Play root notes in time and then build from there. Your basically just giveing the pedal the key and the progression. If you do funky strumming or anything it's gonna be wrong. Less is more until you get the drum and bass line down then you can play the progression the way you normally would. Hope that helps.
Sean Daniel I like the looper on it because you can click the record button and it'll flash red till you play then it starts recording. It does go into overdub immediately if I remember right. You need to hit it twice to not overdub. Generally I just use the ditto mini but when I have a fairly simple progression and need some bass and drums the trio is cool. The problem is once I get a good backing track made on the trio it pains me to delete it so I don't use it as much because I have to keep buying sd cards so I can save everything.
what would you guys recommend for someone starting out with looper pedals. I like the digitech or the ditto. Both seem really simple which I like. The drum loop on the digitech seems fun too play with but how do they really need repairs?
Yeah I personally haven't had any issues but I heard people have. I really think the 2 button loopers are the way to go. The MXR clone looper is great for the money but it doesn't have drum tracks.
