Fantastic video and genial idea To watch these amazing images and to listen the wonderful Mozart's music is really a beautiful moment Thanks dear John! ****** Lillo
Great mix on some of his best pieces. Very relaxing and enjoyable, he is one of my favorite composers. Keep up the good work and thank you for sharing with me :)
Ohh, such a lovely video!!!! The music is lovely and it is very nice that many of the accords match the movements of the wonderful animals!!!! God Bless!!!! :-))
Hi John. Thanks for sharing another wonderful video. Very nice mix of Mozart's works with great imagery. I have often wondered what Mozart would have given the world if he lived a full long life, especially in the same period as Beethoven. I believe that the Romantic Period would have started much earlier. Have a great holiday weekend. JT.
Lindíssimo! música e imagem... Tudo perfeito! Maravilhoso!... Agradeço o envio, música clássica é sempre um alívio para o stress do dia a dia, Obrigado...São Paulo - Brasil.
hey, totally awesome! actually, being an extreme music lover, i have always been curious about Mozart, et al. guess i will explore this further. and, the video footage is captivating and it is a perfect choice for the music. thanks for sharing! :-)
@jttrumpet55 We can only imagine the volumes of music he would have given us and his impact on the music world would certainly have been even more momentous. Even so, for his very short life, he produced so much memorable music that if you did not know of his early death you could believe that he had lived a full long and productive life.
Thank you so much for this excellent work. I would like to point out a small mistake: the reference to Piano Concerto no. 20 (at about 4:15) is in error; the piece that is played is actually from the 2nd movement of Piano Concerto no. 21.
@Stroop Great suggestion, and I must confess that I debated over that for quite a while. Marriage of Figaro is my favorite. What made me decide to go in this order is that EKN starts with a bang and it's hard to put it in the middle. Figaro, on the other hand, could go either place... Where where you when I was trying to decide? :o)
To each his own, but I'll take Beethoven any day of the week! Aside from a few things like Requiem and Alla Turca, I was never a big fan of Mozart. But Beethoven's music is bursting with passion! It MAKES you listen! When Mozart first heard a young Beethoven play, he said "Remember that young man, he will make a name for himself". Well, he sure had that right! Beethoven was able to learn from Mozart and the other greats of the time. Then, he threw away the rule book and wrote his own! Not even deafness could stop him! Unbelievable!
I agree that Mozart is often magnified too much above many other great composers. I like Mozart because I find his music diverse and refreshing, I like Vivaldi because his music is fun and light... although the format is rather formulaic. Bach, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Liszt, Chopin, etc all have features that I like. The trick is to find what you like from each composer and use it. My goal here was to cover a range of Mozart. Perhaps a survey of other composers would be a good idea too.
John Winchester, I respect that. BTW, I didn't mean to compare the two but it has always bothered me how Mozart is so highly revered above all the rest or as you so well put it, "magnified too much". We all know he was a one in a billion prodigy & genius but he was not alone. IMO, composers like Beethoven, Bach and Paganini, though all very different, wrote compositions of equal genius to Mozart's. I don't know, maybe it's all the stories about Mozart's childhood(he could play blindfolded, he could hear violins were tuned differently though played weeks apart, etc). Maybe all those stories helped elevate his reputation to almost that of a god (Zeus, Hercules, Mozart?). Anyway, I think we're both on the same page.. They were all great!
Hi, where can i find the melody on Minute 4:20? I listened to the wohle 3 movements of K466 (concerto 20), and didnt found the melody, played in your video.
Nicely done, although it would be better at grabbing the viewers attention if you opened with the Marriage of Figaro scene. This is a really cool video either way though.
Sue Moseley Unfortunately - Or, perhaps fortunately - there are so many fantastic pieces by Mozart that there is no real way to limit yourself to just 10 pieces by Mozart and say they are the best. Any realistic listing of the 'best' by Mozart would be too long. This is just a sampling to wet the appetite.
The piano concerto no 17 is not the although listed is not the piece heard. IT is actually one of his sonatas i don't remember which one. Also the piano concerto no 20 is listed but the one we are hearing is no 21. The person who made this video does not know his Mozart
Nicely done. Well played. Thanks for putting this together, it's one of your most enjoyable videos.
A wonderful picture and Mozart's music.
I feel prosperity.
Great selections of Mozart's top 10 musical pieces, as well as great clips that you had for this! I really enjoyed this
Fantastic video and genial idea

Beautiful !! I love it.
The quintet for piano and winds, K. 452, was one of Mozart's own favorites.
The combination of Mozart's pieces and images of various animals is very creative and interesting.

Beautiful :) :))
good job
Lindo vídeo !!!!!!!!!

I can't believe his Concerto in C for Flute and Harp, k.299 didn't make it into the top 10 - most gorgeous piece of music ever created in my opinion.

Ma fav

i am a flying eagle! don't tell me i'm not!!! alla turca to you
Why is his k545 sonata being called "Piano Concerto No. 17" K 492? Did I miss something? It's like very obviously not a concerto.
Good list, but bad way to put it together. Random clips of animals and CG arrangements?
ironicly this was made my John Winchester, who knew?
Someday I'm going to have to watch that show :)
I guess I watched it full due to the animal clips. 😙😙😙
Can i learn this using violin ? Please someone teach me 😂😭
beethoven....
Why does this remind me of Tom and Jerry
