Yes finger's crossed. The Classic 6 was randomly laggy then it would get smooth again for a long time and suddenly lag even after a reboot. It was odd but not often, at least mine. Like you, I am hoping these new models completely get rid of that :)
@gabrieltechreviews8185 the 4,5,6 all used essentially the same CPU with some minor tweaks so it's about time we get a massive boost in the watch area. I'm super hopeful this time around. They refined their phones/ tabs so now watches are all thats left:)
@@Iyswift indeed, I would expect a bigger jump this time for sure. I will be keeping an eye on mine to make sure the sudden stutters are a thing of the past :)
@gabrieltechreviews8185 so far I haven't really had any and it's been 2 weeks. It's honestly super impressive. And coming from a Watch4 this battery is WAY better. Is yours still good?
You are right on with all of it. I traded in my watch 5 pro for all the same reasons you said about it. It was cool but it was laggy that digital bezel was okay I had no interest in a physical bezel and thought I'd give this one a shot.. It is absolutely perfect.. I see other reviewers saying you have to drag your finger around and you don't. You can just use it with the tip of your thumb naturally just like you would have clicked wheel and it's that accurate and that smooth and the haptic feedback is perfect. I found myself using my titanium silver Galaxy watch ultra way more than I used my watch5 pro.. I even started using it as a payment system with Samsung pay. I absolutely love this thing and like you said until you see it with your eyes.... Samsung's photos don't do it justice. It's the best looking smartwatch out there of any brand. In my opinion the titanium gray which most people seem to have gotten was too sporty looking.. White just wasn't my thing so I got the titanium silver and it's a classy looking watch. I got a super thin black case that pops on it off Amazon so I can change it to all black anytime..
@@ExposedRoot fully agree with all your comments. I wasn't expecting to like it this much, specially the bezel but like you said, just the tip of the finger around it and the haptic feedback completely sold me on it Thanks a lot for sharing your experience !
A few days ago, I rode my bike for 40 miles, but my classic model battery died after 30 miles. I'm considering upgrading due to battery life concerns. Is this new model better than the Classic 6 for exercise?
@@Phis213 well I haven't done any riding that long not at least for my workouts (hiking, treadmill, boxing, hockey) my ultra is doing better than the classic 6. Maybe another viewer can provide feedback more similar to your activity. Thanks!
Its my first smart watch, but I charge when I shower in the morning (wear during sleep), then charge when i get home after work. Twice a day but for 30mins per charge, usually down to 65-70% lowest. Guess it depends on charging habbits and usage, fyi, I leave all features on.
Are you getting an Ultra, the 7 or a previous model instead?
I'm really hoping the 7 and 7 ultra with the new CPU fixes the random lag issues that have always been present. So far my 7 is performing very well
