How you get the watch face on the ultra
How can they be the same size and same resolution , but different PPI? It’s impossible. Pixels per inch. So if “pixels” and “inches” are the same, the PPI can’t be different.
I returned the Ultra and kept my Galaxy s6 classic 43 mm. I loved the ultra but something about the classic rounded design makes it look more aesthetic and more of a watch.

To be fair, specifically Galaxy Watch 6 Classic 43mm, especially with aftermarket bezel is the BEST LOOKING smartwatch ever so far...looks like a regular watch and feels natural wearing anywhere..changing up the band and putting a case on can make it straight look like an active watch, put a leather band on for dress style or metal for sports look or fabric for outdoor.....only complaint is battery only lasts for a day and a half, but charging during downtime (showering, eating) then no problem.
Just ordered Ultra with with classic 6 trade in as the price of $103 was tempting. I have a same feeling though, my SS watch 6 classic with leather band always received compliments. Not sure of this oddly shaped ultra.
So many comments not liking ultra over watch 6 classic. No wonder its price dropped to the floor with trade-in.

For me, the Watch Ultra blows away the 6 Classic. I love the look of the Ultra, it feels great, and that battery is amazing. On my 6 Classic I would get 1 1/5 days, if I was lucky, on one charge. On the Ultra I can get 3-4 days easy. That was the biggest selling point for me. I ended up trading in my 6 Classic for the Ultra the day it was released so I get it for about $280, so that made it a no brainer to do. Best smartwatch I've ever owned.
What settings (and watch face) are you using? I agree that the battery is great, but the most I get is 2 days, 13 hours. I use the Ultra Analog watch face, turned off the "Ok, Google" wake word in Assistant, heart monitoring fluctuates between constant and every 10 mins, location off, Wifi off, auto LTE, AOD off, auto brightness on, double pinch off, sleep tracking on, etc.
I'm curious about your general settings and usage to easily hit 3-4 days. Thanks!
@@DanaSciandra I'm using the Ultra Info Board watch face. I don't use it for any of the health stuff, so I have all that turned off. I don't have any use for a voice assistant so that's off, too. I just have whatever I need to get my notifications, and then I only get my email, texts, social media, sports scores, and a couple other things. I'm hoping to start working out soon, so the battery might be affected by that if I start using the watch for that, but right now, I kind of use the bare minimum stuff as I don't really need much else.
Me too traded my Galaxy Watch 6 Classic got my Ultra for 265.00 no brainer the best battery life love the speakers too.
Returned the Ultra and kept my classic 6. I could care less about the rotating bezel if I'm being truly honest. The digital rotating bezel on the ultra was more satisfying to interact with I actually much prefer it over the physical one because of the new vibration motor feedback it gives. I just like the classic design a lot more and fits my lifestyle better. Since I don't do any of the ultra activities, I actually would have paid a lot more on features I would never use. I mostly got the classic for casual/work wear and to tell time idec any of the improved health sensors they're completely irrelevant to me lol don't get me wrong the ultra was absolutely amazing because everything felt a lot smoother and snappier compared to the 6 classic, but you can't even use third party apps for customization on it which is a deal breaker. Lastly I like how most straps look a lot better on the classic 6 than the ultra would like the steel bands. I honestly felt like the marine white band was the only band that looked good on the ultra imo I've eventually returned all the ultra bands I got for it, as I wasn't satisfied with they look on it. The worst part is the ultra easily caught a lot of scratches on the chrome area and bezel while I have not seen any scratches on the classic which I've worned more. It was a hard pass for me and couldn't be more happier sticking to my Galaxy 6 classic 43mm! No regrets whatsoever!
I bought. The ultra and the 7 44mm. I use the ultra for everything in the day and the 7 44mm for sleep tracking. I have 365 days a years of battery life.
I have both. Love them both! I Actually keep my white ultra in the Spigen Rugged Armor case. My 6 Classic rocks a stainless steel band. I just couldn't part with the rotating bezel, so I kept my 6...
Planning to buy my first smart watch when i am upgrading to the S24 Ultra and will buy the 6 classic for 2 reasons: love the look and rotating bezel and for the price
Love my Galaxy Watch Ultra had over 2 months been getting 4 days battery with my AOD. Love the speakers way louder for calls and music.
I'm keeping my watch 6 classic and using putting that $650 towards the ps5 pro

I didn't buy the larger model of the Watch 6 CLASSIC and got the 43mm version instead. I DEFINITELY wouldn't like the Galaxy Ultra watch

Just coming back to Android after using Apple for the past 4 years. I bought the Galaxy Watch Ultra to replace my Apple Watch Ultra and love it but I miss the look of my old Galaxy Watch 46mm so I also ordered the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic. The Ultra will be my daily driver for the most part and the 6 Classic will be worn when going out and I want a more classic looking watch.
The classic 6 looks more ...classic and it wins in terms of esthetics but many people out there, especially young people prefer something that looks different on their wrist. Pls remember that young people today are a little off with conventional watch on their wrist. Samsung caught that and introduced more choices to its consumers
This is a bad take. The style used is an actual form factor for watches not just a gimmick to get the attention of the youth.

I have no problems with my 6 classic. I also have no problem charging my watch. I had the Ultra for 3 days and returned it. I thought the digital bezel just sucked. Couldn't get used to the squirkle design. It was a relief to return the ultra and have the classic back on my wrist. So glad I held off on shipping the classic off on a trade.
I was trying to decide if I should upgrade from the 6 classic to the ultra and just the fact that the bezel doesn't rotate on the ultra has made my decision easy. The 6 classic just looks so professional and classy, and I just can't give up the rotating bezel. Thanks for the awesome video. I know I can always count on you
Honestly, you could’ve ended this video by saying the ultra is accurate damn near spot on with Garmin fitness trackers and the watch 6 classic is slow and inaccurate as all outdoors as we see in Florida. And before someone says, he is a hater. I just switch from the galaxy watch six classic that was the worst implementation of the rotating bezel I’ve ever seen on a Samsung watch and I am happy They got rid of it because clearly they had no clue what they were doing, and I owned all of them from the gear sport to ultra and everything in between.
Man I traded my galaxy watch 6 classic 47mm in for the galaxy watch ultra and I'm not upset best smart watch Ive had.
Ii have both. Titanium grey ultra with dark gray band is awesome. And the 6 classic silver, with a really nice stainless steel band for when i'm dressing up. They are not for the same occasion.

Returned the ultra and got the garmin fenix 8.
My Gear S2 Classis is starting to go, between these 2 the 6 Classis was such an obvious choice, the Ultra is not very pretty if I have to be honest with the big bulky case
They could replace the rotating Bezel with rotating side crown

Obsolete? The 6 is getting the 6.1.1 update, which will bring some new features. Definitely not obsolete.....

Better yet, don't buy either! I got the watch 7 and it is highly inaccurate esp the sleep tracker and spo2 while asleep. I am returning it and getting the Pixel 3!

Great content. I have to give watch ultra, it's flower's. As for design coming from watch active 2, then the watch4 44mm, the ultra is a breath of fresh air. As for battery, on fully charge, it reads 4 days 5 hours. Of course, that's on power saving mode, with health limitations on. But I still can do a lot of health things with it. As for price, I don't look at it as a 650 dollar watch, I think of it as a 27.00 dollar a month watch, which is what I pay a month through T-MOBILE It's much easier for me to handle. Then, I would pay straight out up front. It's weird that I can put my rolex submariner to watch face on my ultra. Maybe I'm lucky.
