Roasted Banana Brownies Recipe - Pai's Kitchen!

  • I've been making these brownies for more than 10 years, and I have never had another brownie I love more than these. But up until recently, they didn't have any bananas in them, but once I tired putting roasted bananas inside, I was hooked!
These brownies are super moist and gooey inside, with a crackly crisp top which is the BEST part. Can't wait for you to try them!

Hi Pailin, thank you so much for sharing this recipe. This is hands down the best brownies recipe I've ever tried. And I have tried loads of them. I'm quite a seasoned baker and has had successes with very complicated recipes but brownies was just one of those things that I can't seem to get right. Until i found your recipe that is. Your presentation is lovely and your instructions are so easy to follow. Thank you again, I really enjoy your recipes and videos. Please keep posting more!

If someone is looking for a healthier alternative - you can use oat flour which works as equal to flour (you'll add fiber/protein and make it gluten free!) Plus you can heat olive oil instead of butter for a healthier fat and for the sugar, you can do 1/2 regular and 1/2 Stevia/Monk fruit sweetener for a lower sugar brownie. These modifications will not compromise the taste of the brownie! :)

Pai, what do you think of substituting coconut oil for butter? My husband would love these, but we have to watch out for cholesterol. I heard somewhere that you could replace egg with flax mash. Do you know anything about that kind of substitution? I've been able to modify your recipes when needed--not much, but now that you have gotten into baking, well, that's a different story ;)
