Lot of money coming off the books with Tavares contract being up. I dont see him getting more than 6m p/y on his next contract. Hoping he takes a small deal to chase the cup.

Tavares resigns for sure at the 4-5 million dollar range on a long term contract if his production does not fall off the table. It seems to me he is a Leaf for life.
I think Marner's status depends on the Leafs' playoff and what MLSE thinks they can "sell" to the fans, If the Leafs win a round, Marner gets a longer term deal with a decent raise.
