I too kept my kid’s work but honestly it’s just one more chore for me & are they really going to go through it all as adults. Every quarter I’d take a photo with them sitting on the floor with it all around them. Then they get to pick one (obviously if there are 2 works that are more awesome, that rule was flexible) to keep in a folder in a box. If there was a specific achievement on a piece of schoolwork I would take a photo of them holding it. Then the same thing applies, they toss it all but 1 which also goes in the folder & into the box. Our boxes are Rubbermaid b/c they are durable and can be grabbed if we have to evacuate for a hurricane. There’s just so much to keep up with, especially with 4 kids. So sweet to see your husband and daughter’s art. And mashed potatoes are never meant to be healthy 🤣. It all looked delicious.
Your videos have literally changed they way I live in my space. I have always loved a creative beautifully decorated space that evokes peace. I struggled to find systems and routines to achieve that on a daily/weekly/ monthly basis. Your organizational routines/ calendars/ hand written ( which I only do) planners are so great! I live in a tiny condo with my kitty cat Violet, and we live in a beautiful space that gives us peace and harmony. You have helped me to create that! Thank you for sharing!❤

Either in a section devoted to each kid, or in a section about school/accomplishments for the year. My mother scrapbooked through much of my childhood and we have so many memories captured that would have otherwise been lost, especially given that phones with cameras came out when I was a teenager 😅 I’m several years younger than you. I have a toddler now and hope to scrapbook for my own family so he can look back on our memories one day ♥️

Hey Lauren! I used to do the same with kids school work until I started a memory file box for them. Each year has its own file folder of school work with the years picture and class photos. Pinteest has great ideas.

Lauren, do you like gazpacho? It's a great use of all the fresh ripe summer tomatoes! I like to add a small personal watermelon to mine...it adds a bit of sweetness and another layer of flavor. I also use basalmic vinegar instead of red wine vinegar. I like mine with homemade croutons. I live in AZ and I eat a ton of this soup during hot months. Love your recipes. Just thought I'd share my all time fav soup!💖
