After to replace 120a fuse link and check the voltage at alternator with postive and the ground is 12.73 . but the instrument panel still dark , not starting sound.. any idea or suggestion??
I'm not sure but after the fusible link is replaced. I think you also need to change this 10a . The car I was working on started with just the fuse link replacement though. It wouldn't drive above 1500 rpm till I changed the 10amp fuse in my other video here: th-cam.com/video/0RPdWmCoK8Q/w-d-xo.html
I checked the connection between + battery and the + side of 120A fuse is OK. but the - side of battery and the negative site of the 120A fuse no conitnuity. I confirm that the 120A fuse is new and good. I checled all fuses in the entinge box are OK. Do you think Ignition switch fired? In the position ACC of the ignition switch i got some lights in the car.. but on the ON position the instrument panel still dark.. any idea??
@@gelatoconnoisseur5389 I have to remove the whole fuse box to check the connection behind the fuse link i found discontinity to the main. I fixed then it worked. Remove the fuse box is a little tough due to remove other surrounding components to make room to access
The car was sitting for 3 months and the battery died... I think my uncle put the jumper cables on backwards and that caused the fuses to blow. I don't know why you wouldn't get power to the fuel pump unless you checked all fuses already?
Hi im stuck i got to the 3 screws but when i tried pulling the fuse out the fuse came out but one of the legs stood stuck in what should I do is there 2 screws to take it out
Are you trying to get the fusible link out? There are 2 screws holding it in. One on the easy side, and the 2nd is hard to get to from the otherside because you have to go through all the wires.. be sure you don't get the screw in the hard side out all the way.. loosen it enough to pull the fuse out. Then when you put the new one in, you can wiggle the screw back in through feeling it.
Thank you. Good video.
