This is spectacular footage... So very rare do you see a male loving on/ being so very patient with his cubs... He seems to really be enjoying his kids... Beautiful indeed... I truly wish life wasnt so hard on these lil nuggets. The majority die so young... But this father is amazing... Thank you so much for allowing me to see thru your eyes this wonderful clip...
Mfumo is the gentlest, most tolerant daddy lion, that's why he's my favorite of the Birmingham Boys! He's mellow and sweet with the lionesses and cubs, but is a leader among the males! Mfumo means the authority, a name he's definitely earned with his coalition brothers!

Angela are you sure it's Tinyo? I thought Tinyo had a thicker and darker mane and Mfumo had the smaller and lighter mane?
Sami Motaghedi it’s Tinyo. Mfumo has a pretty noticeable scar under his right eye.

I agree. We usually see daddy lions almost attack their cubs sometimes.
He looks young and a new parent so he probably doesn’t know how to act. You can tell by his nose and small mane

Katherine Uribe yes he is, he is my favorite BBoy! At the time other than witnessing a live kill, seeing Hosana and Xongile and the nice Hyena sightings this was my favorite moment. It was so cool to see the king of the bush be so gentle! Been watching since November 2015 and I can't stop lol

Is so crazy to know, that males, father or not, sometimes eat the cubs. Is hard to understand, that is necesary for their survival. The Lioness, if she knows that she can't protect her cubs, just has to go away. Nature, is scary sometimes but WE ARE THE WORST
