Hello Dressmaking Amore! This is truly a beautiful skirt! I am making this in silk chiffon to wear at my wedding with a second layer of silk underneath. I just finished making a "practice skirt" before cutting into my nice fabric. (The size was perfect, by the way.) I had trouble keeping it from puckering when I sewed the waistband to the skirt because there was a little too much ease. Do you have any tips for how to deal with that scenario?
Once you’ve placed the circle skirt pattern on your fabric. Go around the bottom with a ruler and mark how many inches longer you want the skirt. Then cut with the extra length! 😊
