OMG. I am pretty "protective" of this song. No one comes close to Barbara Cook in my estimation. Having said that, this is now my second favorite version. I also know that I'm not in the majority-- my favorite Patti is not the belter. I so love her restrained performances and tightly controlled interpretations. This is a gem. So glad I stumbled upon it.

It was probably from her first Carnegie Hall concert in 1999. Or possibly when she brought it back for a reprise the following year.
