I f’ing love gamepass, the price increase is annoying, but worth it. Gamepass made my iPad a useable screen for when I have to share the tv with my son. That’s as big as Netflix (gave me movies on my phone so I can game & watch)
Gamepass is killing MS?. Gamespass alone brings MS 700 million A MONTH. That's over 8 BILLION dollars a year. I don't think Sony has any product or services that even comes close to that. Why you think MS could care less if we buy their consoles? As far as game sells, Why have your loyal fanbase pay for games when the other consoles fanbase is eager to spend $70+ for those games. You guys have no Idea how good it feels not having to buy games (but still have the option too at a discount if we want).
@@jrican7581 how do you know that? Bc Xbox doesn’t release official numbers for Gamepass, console sales or game sales. We don’t know what the concurrent numbers are for Gamepass. Only the overall number which is why the number never goes down. Having a fan base that is known for not buying games is the reason why 3rd party devs ultimately don’t mind to skipping Xbox. It’s the reason why Xbox releases all their games day and date to PC. Which gives an instant out of the console ecosystem for gamers. That’s also killing off Xbox. Then to top things off Xbox now has to start porting games to PlayStation and Nintendo. Bc Gamepass is killing Xbox. That’s why they switched up the tiers for Gamepass and only ultimate has day one games. One of the most important things that you’ve neglected is the operating cost. So even if GP was bringing in 700 million a month (which it isn’t) they don’t get to keep that money outright. Bottom line is Gamepass is killing Xbox the console and you’re helping them do it.
Given the current state of things, it is easy to say that Xbox is in trouble, because they are. However, they are not the only company making mistakes. Sony spent 3.6 billion dollars on Bungie, a monumental mistake. That is no small sum and Bungie have been nothing but an expensive thorn in Sony's side since they bought them. Then, you have the PR issues with the team. Moving on, you have Concord, the biggest flop in PlayStation exclusive history. Who knows what this means for Fairgame$, but that will likely go free to play. Now, they are asking $699 for a Pro Console that has virtually no audience. PC folks aren't gonna spend that kind of money for a console that is inferior to their machines, especially with more PC games arriving on PlayStation day and date. Your average consumer can't afford the $699 + tax for a Pro model. That leaves your enthusiast audience, who will likely have a hard time getting a disc drive, because they're all already sold out. Both Sony and MS continue to make bad decisions from a consumer's perspective. Meanwhile, Nintendo continues to thrive - with a console that is packing 2012 tech. Absolutely wild. And I have no preference really between the 3, I play all the consoles so I don't have to miss out on any games. I'd just like to see some more single player games released, both from MS and Sony. Take care, guys.
I feels bad for those who didn't do the 1$ glitch for game pass ultimate. I bought a bunch of 1yr cards when the "rumor" all to true now was that it was going up to 120$ a year from $60. I think my sub runs out in 2026 or 2027 cant remember but having game pass ultimate for a 1$ for 5 years is pretty dope.
Now I wonder if this change price is going to affect international prices, because at least with availability in content, I am not sure if the same catalogue of items are available for example, in Germany or Mexico. Pretty good points alltogether in this vid.

In my opinion, gamepass was way too cheap to even begin with. The number of games available for my entire family is crazy. I fail to see how people still look at gamepass and say nah this is shite lol. Gamepass is so big people hardly have ps plus or premium in this convo, and that was supposed to 10:51 do the same thing. lol craaaaazy😂 That person who walks around greenlighting games in Sony probably didn't see Concord while walking around in Sony lol.
Hurts to see Xbox and Halo in their current situation. Halo not being any where close to top 10 on their most played games on Xbox and Xbox Series X|S global sales being barely above OG Xbox and less than N64 is hilarious. I'm CEO - Hand Nintendo the Halo llicense and pray for a revival.
The selection is mid, but the screen thing is worth the whole price point. Not to mention the multi devices, I get gamepass on my pc for the pc games, and console for COD. Which was finally made free for at least one game😂😅
If i was the ceo of xbox, i would build the console around a big titel and find a leader ship tactic that works. instead of blaming playstation for being ahead borrow some of their tactics. lower the prices of gamepass because no one service should be judged by their subscription serveice, also make it so you dont need gold to play online with friends. thats why alot of people play pc after all, same great games, dont have to pay another price a month for online gaming.
Do you think that may make PlayStation worse in the long run because it wouldn't have a primary competitor and would become a monopoly in high end console gaming?
They haven't stopped since the first always online Xbox One showcase.... Xbox fans are goofy, it's like they make excuses for their own abusers because their wrapped up in tribalism and haven't realized their fighting over PRODUCTS. All 3 of the console makers have pros and con's, other then being broke and not being able to afford gaming outside of Game pass. I don't understand why anyone gets tribalistic and sticks with purely one console... Buy every system and PC and enjoy every good game! Why do they rob themselves of Mario and WuKong and StellarBlade over some childish mindset from 2011?
19.99 is not alot. i been paying that with pc sub and xbox sub . its 2024 !!!!!!!!! 15 dollars is the equivalent as $7 in 2019 before covid. Minimum wage went up. so whats the problem? its a good amount of games,
The average gamer spends $204 on gaming a year. $19.99 for the first time for a subscription service the service is more money than what the average gamer spends. It is also moving away from the price point where you just forget about it and pay for it even if you don't use it.
@@Tritonal92 20 bucks a month is like 8 dollars in 2019 . minimum wage is like 20 an hour now .the number just looks high cause of the inflation but we get paid more, if people were still at 7bucks an hour yeah id complain but its still affordable. and if they raise it up as long as its not 40 a month im fine with it

Defintetly a unique take we didn't consider for sure lol. But we think the issues with the company currently go deeper.

Stop making xbox hardware, make a profit sharing deal with Sony to put gamepass on PlayStation and fully commit to being a game publisher
