I much prefer the ink in these than copics. I use them with my copics and it works well. Sadly there aren't as many colors, but since I use a couple different brands of markets I don't really mind.
Haha! I know! Every TH-cam artist was sent these markers and it's hard to know who to trust on the quality as they expect a review or video from everyone.... But I respect Morgan and her opinion on them.

I've compared them and I do believe the ProMarkers lay down much nicer and blend more easily than Copics. But Copics have refills and loads of other things you are able to do with them! I love them both, and if I had to choose I'd pick Copics. Mostly because they offer more colors and have refills, but I would definitely suggest ProMarkers to people.
I just went to go take a look at Winsor and Newton's site and i found that they had pigment markers that have a more modern look such as Copic markers, but now that I compare this video with the old one you can really see how much the markers changed not only in appearance but also in their color quality, I'm super surprised and I'm actually thinking of looking to start a small collection~

I love these! I have the older ones from letraset and I have anime pack 3. they're so amazing! it's amazing for my budget too, since a packet of 12 + blender for €25, and as someone of my age, I don't have much. they're just great and I have no regrets whatsoever. I tried brushmarkers once but I didn't really like the flex, but the promarkers are perfect for me
I had these but they all ran out and I couldn't afford to replace them. I wish they had refills. Yet they are amazing markers while they last. I do recommend them.
Hi Jellie Bee ! Pretty cool video ! Very nice artworks ;) The Avatar, The Legend Of Zelda and Japanese culture ? I think I found a channel that suits me ^^ I ran into your video searching for the best marker on the market, price vs quality wise. So I chose the promarkers as the colors looked so vibrant on this video and I must say they ARE absolutely beautiful ;) I have little problem though. I'm used to do the lining on my works with the very same expensive Pentel japanese black pigment ink brush pensil you seem to fancy ;) (I bought it to practice in Yôji Shinkawa's style). Same model with the sylver kanji that says "fude" (brush) on the cap and same ink I suppose if you also use the official Pentel cartridges... and the problem is that when I try to do the coloring using the Promarkers, the Pentel ink bleeds on my colors... like if the promarkers diluted the black ink... It's less visible on darker colors of course but on pastel or lighter colors... it's a mess ! As you don't seem to have that same issue maybe (surely) I'm doing something wrong. Did it happened to you too ? Can you give me any advice in order to avoid that ? Thank you very much in advance. And again congratulation on making such good videos ! Here's one more subscriber ^^ PS : sorry for my bad english, it's not my native language. :)

Hey Jellie, I wasn't quite able to catch the name of the brush liner you used to do the outline/hair and it looks quit nice. I was wondering if you would be so kind as to let me know what name/brand it is.
Loved the review, I just would love it if you would add the color names in the heading of this, as I loved the look of them as you were opening the packs and naming them, but it was so fast I had to spend time trying to catch a name, pause, write it down and repeat, and then not catch a color name and have to backtrack over and over. So yeah, if you could add them for future people it may come in handy for them. Again, the review was awesome and so is your art !! 👍👍
Would love to see someone compare the old set to the new one, i own quite a few of the latraset ones and ended up giving up expanding on the collection as over a quarter of them dried up within a month as i didnt use them enough, never had an issue with the printing quality on the sticker though, mine look the same as the windsor and newton just a different colour, also some of my pens have the sticker and others don't :/
I've successfully refilled the old style Promarkers with rubbing alcohol. The colour gets weaker but that's not necessarily a disadvantage. If they're just dried out rather than out of ink there's no loss of quality.
To be honest I wish I got the promarkers instead of the copics. When I bought a Windsor & Newton marker i used it in 3 drawings, and it dried out. I'm not sure since it was an open case at hobby lobby, I presume a lot of people used the markers.

Eeeeeee I love the look of these! I've got a ton of the old letraset promarkers, and they don't have the labels on the cap so it's a struggle when trying to find certain colours :'D I really need to get my hands on some of the new brushmarkers though, they look amazing! :O
hey here's ah idea with your situation maybe u could mark the color on a piece of paper & tape it on the marker with clear tape that way it would be fast & easy. That's what I would do just thinking out loud peace

Letraset is the same brand as Winsor and Newton, they just rebranded which means they have made a new name for themselves and their product design of their markers are different. : )

It's the fact they're not refillable that ruins it for me -_- It's a shame because if they were I'd buy them in a heartbeat. I just hate the thought of buying an expensive marker just to chuck it in the bin within a month or two...idk it's just my mindset I suppose. Also really pretty picture I wish I could draw a head and sketch out the body clothing and everything just like that XD My heads are always too big though when I try to do that.

hopeless nerd Unless Copic has a patent (a bullshit one at that) for refills for markers, any other company can produce marker refills. "Copying" is not a legal issue here. And the nibs "might" not last as long? Do you know for certain or are you speculating based off bias?
+PimpManFan it depend on how the person use the nib i used the old promarkers before they got rebranded the soft nib it great for laying down color but copics the firmer nibs for me lasted longer before i had to replace them . Now if you think i treat my markers shitty i dont i try my best to keep them in good condition i make sure i dont press to hard on the nibs i always have backup nibs and refills on inks depending how much i use the marker. This is my preference on markers i like the copics better then the promarkers and i think copics are better in the long run but if you want to get in to using markers promarkers are a good way to start but maybe finding something cheaper then promarkers.

When I use my brush pen over my pencil then, after I erase, the brush pen fades a bit. 😕

I have promarkers, from when they were still Letraset, the weird thing is that some of them have the sticker at the end while others don't...
It's been a while since I've used them as I've been using a lot of colour pencils lately (blame adult colouring books lol). Is the quality of the new ones the same or better from the old ones?
