I made some of these up last week. Shot a dozen or so. The barrel was almost clean when we got home lol. I think the glue 'slug' is stripping any funk from the last shot out of the barrel. I barely had to clean anything.
Lightweight projectiles are unstable and will not travel far. But you can definitely punch a hole in something with nothing but a blob of hot glue shot from a shotgun. It would be lethal at medium-close range I reckon.
I have been making hot glue slugs for a couple years now. I make them just about the same way as you do. this is some bad ass slugs for what it cost to make. I have never had a problem in any way with them
Over penetration is a very important factor in a defensive round and these more than get the job done without risking much collateral damage behind the intended target. So in most instances you'd use these in, they're better!
Nice video man but just one question, what if i do not want to put bbs in the mix of hot glue because i want to make just the slug the range i go to does not allow a single bb?
the wonderfull thing is that walmart sells 100 for 19.99
Not anymore they dont
@@dannyhousley8727 found a few boxes for 6.97 25 rd boxes they wont be selling ammo anymore when it's gone its gone.
@@angelvalle9963 yeah i know. Walmart is out of the game.
Those are almost 60 cents a round, on sale, here in Canada now.😩

This made me smile
I like it.
Do you think glue slugs will work in a double barrel too?
Also, any health and safety tips?
Not as good as slugs but better than shot 7 1/2 shott

Damn, I wish I could shoot from my back deck. I made some hot glue slugs last night BTW, looking forward to trying them out. Saving my milk jugs, lol.
Any residual after a lot I understand you couldn’t see anything after 1
You sir, are a bad ass.
Question is will they cycle reliably in a mag fed semi auto
If you just trim the inside fold and leave the crimp there's no difference. Why he cut the whole end off doesn't make sense to me.
Yep
wow, great video. can you work on making some other kinds of improved rounds?
Is the recoil the same as the unmodified shot?

Should be a giant rubber bullet, I'm experimenting with solid glue and shorter shells with little to no powder.
@@antonchigurh5472 did the straight glue idea work?
How much shot did u put in the hot glue load
Wow ! The proof is in the pudding
“You know what time it is, It’s time to blow some shit up!”
milk jugs, lol
