The attorney's fees issue hasn't been decided yet. It is not automatic. The $1 award to Paltrow allows her to pursue them. There will be a separate hearing on it - primarily legal argument of why she is entitled to them and testimony about the fees incurred - and the judge will make that decision. Does anyone else think that the department of Veterans Affairs , needs to take a good hard look at this guys possible fraudulent statements, and possibly need to re assess his case, claims and payments. Based on this hearing alone, they would be made aware of his deliberate deciet, false claims of severity of his vision out of his right eye, further more, his claimed depression / anxiety , is blown out of the water by the hundreds of photos posted on his social media of him, travelling the world, and participating in various activities requiring good mental and physical health, not to mention good eye sight. He puts in his own posts, comments relating to how happy he is doing each of these activities in various places around the world.
An optometrist is not an M.D. An opthamologist is. An optometrist calls herself doctor to avoid confusion, the same as a chiropractor does. An optician is the person who fits your glasses. An opthamologist can diagnose and treat diseases, and can perform surgery. An optometrist examines the eye and can manage some eye conditions.
I think his attorneys tried to counsel him, but he is the smartest guy in the room and they didn't know anything. I love the fact that as an optometrist he calls himself blind. What???
The plaintiff and his lawyers are all cut from the same cloth. Reminded me of a sign in front of a law firm by me. “Just because you did it, doesn’t mean your guilty.” Yikes! Some people think life is about getting away with as much as possible. Can’t relate, and maybe that’s the best I can hope for.
While watching the original court testimony, I also called out his obvious malingering with the VA (not to mention with the ski crash) in a chat. VA benefits are often tied directly to the extent of one's disabilities. I still hope that the VA looks more deeply into his various medical claims.
Fascinating as always. I am seeing flashes of anger , very quick, in Terry's eyes when he has to agree with the lawyer about what he, Terry, has said earlier. It's as though he is angry that there is a record and that he can be called up on it. To me that means this is NOT cognitive confusion. I've lived with people who had genuine cognitive confusion and it doesn't look anything like this. To me this looks like someone who has always got away with manipulation, he is almost succeeding in hiding his anger, and feigning confusion. But if you know real confusion and real memory loss - you can see this is pretence. He's angry at being exposed.
I agree with Scott--i.e., that Sanderson isn't experiencing cognitive decline, but rather is a congenital weenie who suffers from the 'Hey,-Look-at-Me!" Syndrome. I find Paltrow annoying, but in this case, I think she actually was the aggrieved party. It's clear Sanderson's story is inconsistent, and just because Paltrow is wealthy, she shouldn't have to pay off some idiot for a bogus claim. And 3 NDE's!? Sham-wow.
I watched the entire trial and I am convinced he does have some decline. But based on medical records it began well before the crash. I just think his ego has latched on to it being Paltrow's fault. It's clear from his daughters that he was pretending to be the picture of perfect health at 69.
The doctor said he cut his shin, and went to the ER for a few stiches. He would know anatomy from being an optometrist. The femoral artery is deep in the thigh, and is a life threatening emergency if severed. He creates his own reality to align with his narcissism.
Watched the trial. The TRUTH was so obvious throughout. Her testimony and body language were truthful. He could not keep it together. Lie. Lie. Lie. CAUGHT. BUSTED.
I don’t blame GP going after attorney fees. It’s not the money. It’s the principle of the matter and it would open the door to everyone thinking they can just make a quick buck. He must have enough money to pay fees. He travels around the world. I think that he even went to Machu Picchu prior to trial.
Sanderson should have said I the stand "This trial has taught me that I've completely misrepresented this crash and I apologize to Miss Paltrow, the court, the media and all my family, friends and supporters, I screwed up and I'm sorry". Then go on a retreat to learn to love himself.
He speaks a lot. No one probably ever has questioned his words and actions before? He gets away with a lot of things that aren’t true. But never has been held accountable. So this trial is a lesson for this eye doctor and it’s about time.
Painful to watch. My Dad is a doctor and he has Alzheimers and talking to him reminds me of Terry. When he doesn't remember, he comes up with something that sounds believable for him and tries to make a joke so that we wouldn't notice the apparent "lie".
I learned a lesson. I usually go with my 'gut' instinct...and that led me to see Paltrow as the guilty party. But in this case, my instinct was colored by the fact that I am not a fan of hers. Good eye opener. Thanks guys.
Same here. But I watched the trial live and as soon as I began to hear testimony, I saw who this guy was. Not a Gwyneth fan but definitely glad to see her prevail in this trial.
Scott the way you ramble on when you get into a flow is great. It's the mixture of your expressions, your grainy voice and your accent - it's so endearing. You have me creased up 😂😂😂❤️

poor little narcissist got in over his head by taking on "king kong" for her money after a failed plan to sue the ski lodge, the poor ski instructor and paltrow for over 3 million dollars.
This dude saying he had near death experiences is really disrespectful. I was severely abused as a child and had NDEs. I remember many of them more clearly than the abuse that caused them. He saw a celebrity and thought he could cash in. What a crappy moral compass this man has. Love you guys so much. I learn a lot from you. Scott!!!!! ❤😊
Nah he says he had THREE! And all because of the trauma caused by getting hurt on the ski slope 🙄 I agree, it's very disrespectful to actual victims, hope you're doing well
"Yeah, I think this is his 4th near-death experience which is going on right now." 🤣🤣🤣 Cracked me up, Mark! And Chase..... give your lovely dog a huge hug on my behalf. What a sweetie!! Always looking forward to your new episode and have turned quite a lot of people on to your channel. Lotsalurv from the Netherlands, Nicky
@Chase Hughes, when you were talking about the unusual memory loss (I think you called it "super weird") at 1 hour 53 minutes.... I call that "conveniently stupid"! I began calling it that because my ex-husband, who has all the hallmarks/symptoms of NPD, was either conveniently stupid or had a photographic memory. It would depend on what benefited him in any given situation and of course, he thought he was always the smartest person in the room!🙄 Another great analysis, as always! ❤️
I want to say one more thing and I'll leave it. My theory is this when Qwenith Paltro left and sent her rep. to talk to him, he got angry . I can only imagine, he thought to himself"I'll show her, she doesn't know who she's ignoring. So he just keeps thinking about it and decides I'll sue her."
Becky, you say everything as often as you want in here. This is your comment section too. So haul off and tell us everything. And we don’t read the comments anyway. We say we do. But we don’t. That would mean spending over 2 hours a day reading thousands of comments. That’s crazy. So, you wont get on our nerves. Not even a little bit. (Scott here).
The 'near death experience' reference By Mr Sanderson was so amusing. He has that demeanor of the vulnerable charming narcissist who uses, as Mark says 'grandiose' references. The charm in this sense is the supposedly gentle, quiet, 'harmless' almost apologetic placation. But the exaggerated language like 'near death experiences'' thrown in with the greatest of apparent humility, usually achieves great sympathy from others.
So pleased to see justice prevail in this case. He was so obviously guilty but the court of public opinion was busy calling Paltrow an elitist bully and elder abuser - despite all the evidence to the contrary.
Loved the no frills direct approach of the attorney. I watch a lot of trials and this attorney is great, and more fun to watch than those with dramatic flair.
Baby horse explanation: Just like human toddlers, foals may run amok and crash into sensitive body parts, completely innocently. They also don't know social hierarchy and cues. Foals "clack" their teeth (open mouth chewing motion) to signify "I'm just a baby, I know nothing, please don't kill me". And adult horses honor this. They may nip the baby, but won't bite or kick with full strength.
While I do learn from the analysis that is presented on this channel, detailed observations like "the Wallace and Gromit EEK face" makes learning body language fun and memorable (I LOVE Wallace and Gromit). However I feel the award, at least for this episode, regarding relevant education and advice, should go to Mark Bowden. His statement, "stay out of court if at all possible...if you end up there, do NOT fiddle with the microphone" are literally words to live one's life by.
Sanderson lives in the same world of physics as amber heard, who held onto Johnny’s lapel as they both flew across the room and landed on a games table
I had to replay the first part of Mark’s comments because Chase’s dog immediately owned the screen. 17:54 Trying to wedge its head in, priceless. (And, perhaps the largest purse dog I’ve ever seen!). Thanks you guys. 18:20 update: Chase’s dog is now on the scene and has stolen my attention. Sorry Mark, I’m sure whatever you said was epic. 😎
Mark - In reference to the lawyer who was sniffing and wiping his nose while he was quesTerry Sanderson, he got sick midway through the trial and had to show up anyway. He had a mask on the rest of the time, and he explained to the court that he had a cold, but he had to work through it. I don't think he was comfortable sniffing on screen, but he couldn't do much about it.
hi, I am on replay crew thank you all for your commentary. When TS was diagnosed with prostate cancer he chose not to get treatment. This was before GP allegedly skied into him. So he has not been making good medical decisions, narcissist and a pathological liar.
Ive been helping my elder whom has cognitive decline for 8yrs now, diagnosis is alzheimers. The last holliday he had was maybe 10yrs ago and his response to the holliday was, " ill never do that again" What he meant was the holliday was stressful for him. My point here is Terry enjoyed many hollidays after the incident. Does not make sense to me. Love your channel guys ❤✌️👍
I agree completely. I had 4 ABI’s between 2014-2017 and it has affected my whole being. We joke my short term memory is Teflon coated..nothing sticks…but it’s not made me a misery guts, though I know that Alzheimer’s is a whole different ball game. In the 9 years I’ve travelled twice, both times going to my mum’s in Canada from Scotland. The last time was last year and was only because my mum had found out she had terminal cancer, she died a week before we got there sadly, but the travel is killer. There’s not trusting that you’re going to get to the right gate at the right time which causes anxiety and that is exhausting! The jet lag on getting home had me do little more than hydrate, snack and sleep for a full 10 days both trips…so all the travel had me thinking ‘hmm, his description of his issues doesn’t fit with ALL that travel’
@@curlyKTJLuvsWatermelon Sounds like you are as gracious as my elder. We always joke around. One of our favorites is, "i dont know....ive been to bed since then" You take care Dear Katie ❤️✌️
My mother got Alzheimer’s. It’s a hard, painful, thing but there were laughs too. She did get confused and arguing about what she believed to be true. I thought the same about TS. He should be thankful he got to travel like he did. If he is sinking into Alzheimer’s he won’t know what he’s doing wrong anyway. Or rather, it will come and go as it progresses. Good luck to you and your elder.
@ Scott, Greg, Chase and Mark. I just had to share this. I was watching a movie with three young children last week. The four year old said, "That man is a kidnapper!" His older siblings asked, "How do YOU know? Did you see this before?". The observant little fellow shook his head and answered, " No. His eyes are little!". Smh, I couldn't believe he understood the concept of 'beady eyes' !! I don't think I'll have to worry about him out in this crazy world! :)
I just really want to thank you guys for your content! I love listening to these while I work; gives me a few laughs and keeps it light-hearted. You guys are the best!! Please keep the videos coming! :)
I don't feel sorry for Terry at all. I watched the entire trial. It's clear that he is a pathological liar who attempted to fleece Paltrow FOR AN ACCIDENT THAT HE CAUSED. He is a criminal.
I remember when my dad's (he was a veterinarian) memory loss/dementia (parkinsons) first started getting more frequent you could always see it in his face. Mark is correct, he would just have a moment of confusion. Then he would get so frustrated with what was happening because he would realize that he wasn't saying or remembering things correctly. But he never tried to hide from the fact that his brain was letting him down.
As a nurse of 30+ years, I've worked with many dementia patients, and that's the way most are. In the early stages, they try to hide it, but it doesn't take long to get past that to where they can't hide it.
Yes. I lived with first my father in law who had Alzheimer's, and then 12 years later my mother who had TIS. Cognitive confusion and memory loss did not look anything like Terry's behaviour in either case. He's feigning it IMO. He is better at pretending than Amber Heard was, but if you know the real thing you can see Terry doesn't have it.
I love your analysis that this guy told stories about the incident and either he started to believe them or friends got him to move on stories and to keep face he had to follow through. Also his sad no one paid any attention to me….. oh my such a victim.

What this guy really loves taking is time and attention. He’s also hoping for financial gain, but the first two are priorities.
Absolutely . It disgraces his service .
From watching his doctor's testimony its it's obvious he had her fooled. I'll bet she was shocked to see his facebook pics.
Thank you gentlemen! I was very excited for this episode! Your analysis is always appreciated.
You got it Greg, (you made me laugh) with getting his arse handed to him.
I absolutely love you guys! I enjoy all you videos. I not only learn things, you all make me laugh out loud.
I had so many, many hours of interest ,learning, and laughter with you four wonderful men❤
“Strange shrinking man”…..😂. Love it!
He is an optometrist who has a doctorate in optometry. An ophthalmologist went to medical school and has a medical degree, and is a surgeon.
It’s almost embarrassing to watch him try to be “somebody”
It looks like Colonel Sanders is on trial.
He looks like his son. Colonel Sanders son.
Haha! 😂
The doctor said he cut his shin, and went to the ER for a few stiches. He would know anatomy from being an optometrist. The femoral artery is deep in the thigh, and is a life threatening emergency if severed. He creates his own reality to align with his narcissism.
An optometrist, wouldn’t have to understand much anatomy, but an Ophthalmologist, certainly would.
Your general man-in-the-street knows where the femoral artery is.
You mean opthamologist
@@VallerieMalkin he is not an ophthalmologist, he is an optometrist.
@@fowchiiiliedpuppiesdied Knowing the femoral artery is highschool biology.
I agree Liane. I thought GP was quite fair in asking that.
Sanderson should have said I the stand "This trial has taught me that I've completely misrepresented this crash and I apologize to Miss Paltrow, the court, the media and all my family, friends and supporters, I screwed up and I'm sorry". Then go on a retreat to learn to love himself.
Awesome comment… truth!!
The fact that he’s conning the VA with his “blind” right eye tells me all I need to know. This guy is an opportunist.
this guy is a lying grifter - a con artist. there I fixed it for you. 🙂
Mark - absolutely agree with your take on stories that are well received in polite society vs. what will be accepted in court. Right on!
Laughing so much watching Chase’s dog!! Too cute! Sorry Mark I missed what you where saying, had to go back.
You have me creased up 😂😂😂❤️
😮
I like how you all come at your theories from different places, it makes your videos interesting. I really wouldn't want to be interviewed by any of you!! 😂
Mark- “watching this, I was having a near death experience.” 😂😂😂
You missed that the plaintiff's attorney, sitting behind Owens, (Robert Sykes), is asleep during Owens'cross of Sanderson.
poor little narcissist got in over his head by taking on "king kong" for her money after a failed plan to sue the ski lodge, the poor ski instructor and paltrow for over 3 million dollars.
Scott you always crack me up!
This will forever be my favourite channel ❤
At frame 1:14:19 there's a fake imposed image of man third row wearing black with glasses. Weird!
That’s just creepy!
I NEVER would have noticed that. I wonder if the BP did it to test our observation skills. How did YOU notice that !?
I saw that too! Was waiting for one of the panel to tell us the joke. The guy was freaky looking 😂
It’s weird. Looks like a gif has been added into the video clip. Wonder who did this!
@@musicrinda well, he was making the weird faces and there was some edges of light around his head
Lotsalurv from the Netherlands,
Nicky
@Chase Hughes, when you were talking about the unusual memory loss (I think you called it "super weird") at 1 hour 53 minutes.... I call that "conveniently stupid"! I began calling it that because my ex-husband, who has all the hallmarks/symptoms of NPD, was either conveniently stupid or had a photographic memory. It would depend on what benefited him in any given situation and of course, he thought he was always the smartest person in the room!🙄
Another great analysis, as always! ❤️
Excellent as always! I appreciate that y'all keep your language clean so I can listen around my young children.
You hit the nail on the head, Becky!
💙
Becky, it's nice to see another Foster in here 😁 I'll be watching for your comments; seems like you know what you're talking about. ✌️🍍
I think Gwyneth is elegant and she didn’t let a man push her around.
@@Natalie_TrueCrime She especially didn't let a malicious man extort her for financial gain.
I’m going to start telling people who disagree w me that they’re just being antisocial. Thanks, Mark! 😅
Any tips for “I’m just a dumb human” “ I know nothing” “please don’t kill me” experience?
@@cocksureness yes. Hide under the nearest bed....
I wouldn't be surprised if he was prepped and he just didn't take any notice of it, because he knows best.
Mark nailed it....STORYTELLING 101!
When he told of all the travels he’d done, overseas etc. since the ski accident, I felt he was lying all along.
Chase, I love the science and neurology!
hi, I am on replay crew thank you all for your commentary. When TS was diagnosed with prostate cancer he chose not to get treatment. This was before GP allegedly skied into him. So he has not been making good medical decisions, narcissist and a pathological liar.
Coming to a cinema near you, Gwyneth Paltrow is ........ GODZILLA
😂😂😂
I thought he may have been in early stages of alzheimers or dementia
@@curlyKTJLuvsWatermelon I’m so sorry about your mom. 12 years since mine passed. I still miss her so much but it’s gotten easier.
@ Scott, Greg, Chase and Mark.
I just had to share this.
I was watching a movie with three young children last week. The four year old said, "That man is a kidnapper!"
His older siblings asked, "How do YOU know? Did you see this before?".
The observant little fellow shook his head and answered,
" No. His eyes are little!".
Smh, I couldn't believe he understood the concept of 'beady eyes' !!
I don't think I'll have to worry about him out in this crazy world! :)
Why do his lawyers look so clueless? No objections and no reaction, they didn't even know where to find their client's actual testimony.
I just really want to thank you guys for your content! I love listening to these while I work; gives me a few laughs and keeps it light-hearted. You guys are the best!! Please keep the videos coming! :)
You guys are the best but knowing Greg has horses makes him even better❤
The pure love in Chase's eyes when Mark gets passionate 🤩
I think even GPaltrow felt sorry for this mess of a man.
I don't feel sorry for Terry at all. I watched the entire trial. It's clear that he is a pathological liar who attempted to fleece Paltrow FOR AN ACCIDENT THAT HE CAUSED. He is a criminal.
@Sole Knight 😂😂😂 Yup!
