At home, we had both these phones and we are absolutely stuck to decide, which is better.
The primal importance for us is to have great camera pocket tool.
This is shocky - our results with colour reproduction are opposite of yours. I watched many videos and photos and I can see variety of performance in each video.
Colours from our 6 Pro were vibrant, while 7 Pro were mostly fade out and overexposed (with latest apk until this date).
7 Pro was less reliable in therms of correct focus. It struggled especially during close-ups and macro.
6 Pro had less issues about this. Also 6 Pro tele felt more reliable then 7 Pro. Sharpness of optical tele is good on both, but 7 Pro was giving less reliable results, which gave impression, that 5x is not as good as 4x optical. But when I zoomed in, 7 Pro seemed more detailed with the same sharpness.
For us, the only significant advantage of 7 Pro was much better 2x zoom, which produced very sharp and realistic photos missing impression of digital zoom (viewing on 17", 23" monitor and also on 58" tv). It was so good, that I could not tell, if it is 1x optical or 2x digital shot (both phones have great 1x main photos).
You seem to be lucky about your 7 Pro, so I would recomended it.
For other people, I would suggest - if you have doubt about what you want to buy - buy them both, test them both side-by-side and pick one. Return the worst.
I work in molding factory and also, not every piece coming out of production is the same.
Assuming, the same happens with quality of each mobile piece (talking about lens glass quality probably).

FIY the 7 pro goes to 30x zoom; which is higher than the 6 Pros 20x.

Yup I believe I noted that in the video, but that's for photos. For video they both cap at 20x.

7 pro is expensive for me but standard 7 is affordable but I am confused between 7 and 6 pro

I can't speak fully for the 7 since I have not used it, but I would imagine with the Tensor Gen 2, the 7 will have slightly better performance and battery, I've seen it at a good price brand new as well. Unless you'd want the telephoto camera and 1440p 120hz display, the 7 would be a better overall phone.

That's just because I am not able to use my phone all the time during the day. Especially during the week when I am at work. I also have a good bit of background usage with Bluetooth connections such as speakers/earbuds/smartwatches and I listen to music.
