Good ideas for a starter cube! I personally like mono red burn. It is really fun and sometimes wins.
Burn is always a good choice. I definitely have a burn deck in here, but I tried to make it more of a "spellslingers" approach more than straight-up burn.

The big one im working on now is a pauper commander cube with the all the uncommon partners as commanders and the rest commons lots of fun mechanics that all my friends enjoy so its ganna be a shit show for a while till get it drafted and worked on

I’ve had my pauper cube together maybe 12ish years amd I always wanted to make a package. I quit when neon dynasty came out and came back yesterday. It’s crazy 1- how many sets came out even commander alone product tripled (I don’t miss that format)and just how many uncommon legendaries there are now! The lord of the rings stuff kinda impressed me. And generally the power creep of commons for me is welcomed.

Hmm! Good question and i'm afraid i dont have much of an answer. I have not specifically played much Pioneer and I haven't played a Pioneer cube.

Btw what sleeves are you using for your pauper cube ? For some pauper cubes sleeves are worth more than cards itself
Thanks! The sleeves are nothing special. Ultra Pro. I think specifically the Ultra Pro Pro-Matte.

Hey I've only glanced at your cube, but why no Network Terminal or Lorien Revealed etc? Too powerful?
Good question! I actually have a cycle of landcycling cards in the cube, and they are all 2 mana. Having a one mana cycling card might shift the power in favor of that card. I also have a cycling archetype primarily in red and I would not want drafters picking Lorien purely to play it as a cycler in a mono-red deck, for example.
Network Terminal is solid but I kinda stopped putting Manalith variants in the cube. I might change my mind. I ran Letter of Acceptance when it came out.
@MasonzeroMTG But Lorien is islandcycling only so I'm not sure how mono red would use it as you don't have the typed duals in your Mana bases? Fair enough on Network Terminal, I just saw the Tomb that does the same sort of effect without Mana ramp and thought Network was just better.
@MasonzeroMTG Also Fall from Favor is now banned in Pauper, does this Cube follow the constructed Banlist or is Pauper as a way to say any cards printed at common?
It's less about the cycling doing anything and more about just getting the cycling trigger. Although in this cube there is nothing too crazy so it's probably not a big deal. I would maybe like to replace the New Capenna dual lands with the Dominaria United duals that have the land types, so if I do that I will probably reevaluate my landcyclers and likely use Lorien since it's such a good card.
As for Fall From Favor, yeah I just go by cards that have been printed at common. Limited and constructed are so different that being banned doesn't really matter for cube, even though that particular card is certainly powerful.
